Used this to light huge bonfires - worked a treat - much better than the large matches, really simple to use.

Update: The seller has graciously sent a replacement, which is working absolutely fine. I really liked the build of it, so I'm happy to have a fully functional one now!Old review: I bought this lighter a few months ago and it was working fine, although sometimes you had to try a couple of times before there was a flame, but now...completely stopped working. There's gas in it, I followed instructions, but it can't produce a flame anymore. All I can hear is the hissing of the gas.I was hoping it would be usable for at least a year, but no luck!

This was really good in its first month or so projected a really impressive flame with the adjustable gas output. It's also really easy to refill (which many gas lighters are not).However, the ignition mechanism quickly degraded, so after a few months it often wont ignite at all. Very disappointing given the premium price of this lighter.Would not recommend.

The flame (whilst excellent) is very slow to die after taking your finger off the slider. It can take upto 30 seconds to extinguish. Definately a safety issue

I was so tired of the cheap style lighters I wanted to get one that lasted. Ok it is a bit expensive but I really can find no fault with it. I use it to light candles in holders due to the swan neck, also to light those mosquito repellent coils. Obviously the standard gas rings and even the BBQ when using the gas one. Overall if you are looking for a reliable lighter don't go cheap, it is not worth it, just invest in this one.

I bought 2 of these a couple of years ago - one has just stopped working as the electric spark mechanism has given up the ghost. They're not the cheapest but was hoping that paying a bit more would mean they would last - sadly not the case....

Quite temperamental. Seems to light when it wants to. Uses a lot of gas.However, JOBON is a superb Ebayer and their ‘no quibble’ dispute resolution sorted things out in super quick time. Will definitely use in the future.

The lighter is robust and feels good quality although its promoted stainless steel body is rather pointlessly encased in plastic, which would break if mishandled.The main loss of stars awarded by me is because the ignition switch is very unreliable. When it arrived, I thought it didn’t work at all (despite following the filling directions & waiting 15 minutes before use). However, it did eventually ignite and, when at highest flame setting is quite impressive but it still takes several tries to get it started. I might return it in case it’s faulty.

Verkar robust med en rejäll låga. Samt gasnivåindikator.Något negativt är att den inte går att hänga på ett enkelt sätt t.ex. på grillen.
