This is our second livestock scale and it works very well. It took a little bit to put it together but it seemed accurate and dependable as well as durable. Would buy again. We use it to weigh pigs, goats and sheep.

This sheep scale is perfect for my ranch. I weigh my sheep and lambs on it to know their weight. It’s great. I was surprised how sturdy it is and how well it worked for the money. Great item.

I wondered if I could buy a good scale for this price…I can..and did! Very little assembly and when you read other reviews about the “paper thin rubber mat”…pay no heed. If it WAS an issue, THEY FIXED IT! You get a full size scale platform with a solidly built red line readout display in numbers 1-1/4” tall and very readable. It zeroes perfectly every time, sets to lbs or kgs. And gives a steady read once the animal stands still for just a split second. So many great features…but that’s the easy part. Electronics are packed full in tiny spaces andd it takes a lot to impress us these days. But this readout and the connecting cord are heavy duty. Everything is metal (except the standard heavy vinyl cord casement). The connections are ready for rough service and all you need is hard dry level place to put it and a way to make the animal walk on and off. I breed a nearly extinct rare breed sheep and my flock is small but growing. I go for quality equipment because I exxpect a 20-25 year service life out of any tool or equipment. This will do that. I recommend getting some ‘Barges Rubber Cement’ (commercial grade rubber cement that will not fail..available here on Amazon) and sticking the rubber mat down or it will slip around. But it is heavy duty and will last for years under normal use. If I was going to take anything away from the scale as a whole it would have to be the platform sheet metal. It could be thicker but my 360lb sheep have had no noticeable impact. The issue is the folded down edges. When you go to pick it up or to move it to sweep underneath the metal edge is VERY SHARP! You can either complain like a little girl or spend $4.50 on some flexible plastic edge protector and use a good epoxy to stick it on. It is close to the ground so you may want to run out a few threads on the feet to raise the scale but I found that on smooth flat concrete there was no interference when the extra 1/8” thick edging was put on. It makes it look neat and it is easy on the fingers. If you don’t do that PLEASE use gloves! It can slice your hand deeply if it slips and slides on your skin. This is ‘industry standard’…everyone does it this way and it does not affect the quality of the scale. But as a businessman and retired physicist I like to see every detail thought out. I like clean smooth finished product appearance. Take it or leave it..that’s my two cents worth. Great scale for the price and will last for many years.

Got it Cali rated today. Simple set up until you get to the setting all the P1- P12 don't bother with the pamphlet and got to youtube they have several videos on setup of different scales, they are great. I weighted 10 goats today and it worked well , stabalilized quickly. First use was great.

We purchased a scale at the end of April 2024 and used it a few times for our 4-H animals, the scale broke at the end of July and contacted the company and they informed us that we would be getting a new scale the following week. After a month of trying to contact them, they refuse to contact us and replace our scale. It was not a cheap scale and disappointed it broke after 6 uses. Would not recommend. Customer service isn't helpful at all to get a replacement. Still trying to get a replacement after 45 days of our first contact with the company.

We found this to be very simple very easy. Purchased it for our daughter's 4H animals. Sheep mostly. We think it is within a couple ounces of accuracy. Tares easy for measuring buckets of feed. Yet big enough for full grown sheep. Absolutely great that it is rechargeable and doesn't require 120v to operate making the scale very portable if needed. Needs level ground for best results. Would recommend for our type application.

Scales works as described. Got it out of the box to find it bent in several different spots. But seems to function fine despite the bends in the frame. For the price you expect it to be in perfect condition upon arrival though.

We bought this scale so that we could weigh our Finnsheep flock. We needed a scale that would weigh new born lamb up to mature Rams. This scale does ounces for the lambs and pounds in 0.1 lbs increments. It is a big scale. We had one issue with the cord being secure. We contacted the manufacturer, the issue is straight. We've used on our three dogs. We used on three Ewes and a Ram. Once they stepped up the scale stabilized. We now have accurate weights.
