Babasling Lite 100% Cotton Baby Carrier, Turquoise

I hesitated to buy this based on the high cost and my unfamiliarity with the brand. I really wish I didn't wait so long! I could have been using this since my son was born! He has some colicky digestive issues that come and go. When nothing else will soothe him, I can slip him into the sling and take him (and my dog now that my hands are free) for a short walk around the neighborhood. It does the trick every time--and nothing else consistently soothes him.The sling is very easy to setup, easy to put on/take off, feels secure, and I can put my son in by myself with ease. It is way more comfortable than holding him and faster than pulling out the stroller. While having the baby so close to your stomach does raise your body temp, I didn't feel like the areas where the sling rests on my skin were suffocated by the material.My son is already 12 pounds and around 24 inches long, so I don't know how much longer he will be comfortable in the laying poses, but the sling came with instructions to have him sit more upright, too, like a moby or katan.In short, this exceeded all of my expectations and does everything it claims to--an amazing rarity!

A must-have! Just like all the other reviews...wish I would have bought this sooner! I've tried so many carriers/slings and this one fits perfect for my baby and I! I'm completely happy with it! I'm now a fan of joovy. I also own their ultralight stroller and room2. I give 5 stars for those products as well.

Baby suffered from colic and this was the only thing that allowed him to sleep. Unfortunately, he outgrew it all too quickly.

Granddaughter & husband love the Babasling Lite Baby Carrier! It is comfortable for each of them to cuddle and carry the baby.

I have tried at least 4 different carriers and wraps. This is MY FAVORITE. I wished I had it from my daughter's birth, but we only started using it when she turned 5 months old. It is not as well-publicized or well-known compared to other carriers which is why I found out about it rather late. I am surprised it is not well-known among parenting communities. Although its expensive, we used this far more often than our Bugaboo stroller. I found it surprisingly comfortable, breathable and my daughter which tend to get heated up in other carriers, did not feel hot in the Baba sling. The material is extremely well-made and soft. I don't only use it for heading out (which is great since you can carry your baby in 5 different positions), I also use it at home while doing chores, cooking and even while eating. She enjoys being on the sling and being part of whatever I was doing, and when she gets sleepy, she promptly falls asleep in it. I use to dislike babywearing and believed it was not suitable for hotter climates. I found that all the other carriers made my daughter and I really hot and sweaty. But now with the baby sling, I really enjoy babywearing and the stroller is now more of an accessory than a necessity. I highly recommend it!
