Great watch, size, but strap is too small
The watch is a perfect replacement for the standard ironman I have always worn.Great size, color, and functions are virtually the same.Purchased for Heart Rate function, but strap supplied is a small, so it is extremely tight when using, and therefore I can not wear all day, or even for more than 2 hours, without suffering from a heat rash, or tightness pain. There should be a way to express the needed size of the strap.

Works great
This is my first monitor and it is very easy to use. The instructions that come with it could use some definite improvement. They might be good for an experienced user but for a novice like me it took a while to understand what it was talking about. With easier instructions I would give it 5 stars.

Bought Timex a few years ago and it was great. Made the mistake of having the watch battery changed as Walmart, she really didn't know what she was doing and broke something. Keeps great time but who needs that gimmick? :) I went through several replacements, a couple would do fine for this 70 year old guy on the elliptical (120-135 range) but when I wore them outside to mow the lawn they would go totally haywire. Back to the store a few more times. This one just barely fits my 40" chest but it DOES fit and doesn't go loony tunes when I mow the lawn. Now if only I could find one that duplicates the original Timex heavy duty belt with tabs then that would be the best. But this one? Works great for me. All I need it to do is keep track of my heart rate and it seems to do that perfectly.

NOT MY FAVORITE
The watch is what I expected but the chest strap is crap! For one the strap is to flimsy and the reader is to bulky. It doesn't fit right if you wear a regular bra and I'm afraid that it will just pop off during exercise in a sports bra. I can just imagine how the mens version may look under their shirts. I hate it, I was looking to exchange the strap but I couldn't find where it came from to make a complaint. I just use my old chest strap from my other timex zones, more durable and I'm not having to rearrange my bra to accommodate for the awkward reader!

Too Small
Really a nice watch, i bought this to my mother, because she needs a heart monitor watches, and Timex is a excellent brand. I think he is too small, like a kids watches, and very soft, but she like it.

Excellent HRM
I was trying to decide between the Polar and this timex in similar price ranges and decided to go with timex since I could change the batteries myself. I am very happy with my timex. I have not had to replace the battery and it works great. When I work out at the gym and use the treadmill, the heart rate on the treadmill matches the heart rate on this watch, so I know that it is accurate. I really love the calorie counter. I burn so many more calories than the treadmill tells me - which makes sense because how does the treadmill know how hard my heart is working right? Very pleased with this purchase.

The inseccent non-stop beeping that does not stop will be ringing in my ears for DAYS
Wow this was by far the worst heart rate monitor I have ever bought. I was hopeful as it was Timex and thought this was a good brand. The instructions were horrible and even after watching a video on it my screen never looked like the example. I finally was able to program the basics and the heart rate results were so off it was ridiculous. Saying I burned 31 calories is 40 minutes of intense workout.By far the worst part was that this watch does not stop beeping when it tracks your heart rate! It is a LOUD high pitched non-stop beep that does not shut off. The ONLY time it shuts off is when you are within the ideal heart rate--so between 126 and 144. So if you are under that OR OVER THAT it beeps. I could almost defend the beeping if you are too low as a motivator (hell while doing situps) but over? I could even understand if it beeped when heart rate is dangerously high but I am a fit person --145 is not too high for anyone. So it was like a punishment for working out hard. Total NIGHTMARE. Going back
