Solid device that does the job
Bought this to have a split/dual optical output from a HDMI switcher/audio extractor I use with my Xbox and PS5 and have the ability to send the audio to 2 different sources/DACs (reasons). Avoiding some of the cheaper options, I was pleased with the build quality of this splitter and the solid connection fit, to the extent that it's actually hard to detach any cable you plug in given how well they clip/slot in.

Works perfectly all the way up to 192khz
I didn't expect this to work as well as it does. I've used it all the way up to 192khz with no issues at all. Only caveat is my fibre optic cable runs are short. I doubt it'd work well with really long cables.

I use this to split the optical sound output from my TV so I can listen to it on my hearing aids through a TV connector while my wife listens through a sound bar. Simple to use - just plug into TV and plug your kit into its two outputs.

Perfect it lets your surround sound work and hearing aids work at the same time as some splitters will only let one work at a time.

I needed a TOSLINK splitter to be able to connect both my Bose Cinemate II sound system as well as my Sennheiser RS175 headphones to my Sony Bravia TV. I was using the Sony headphone output for the RS175, but somehow got dropouts as of recently and was no longer satisfied with the sound. After reading the reviews and that this specific (passive) splitter might not work, I was a bit concerned. However, I can gladly report that it works fine and was very easy to install. Plugging the cables in might take a bit more effort than usual, but they sit tight, and the sound quality on my headphones is now much better. I ordered a 2m BlueRigger TOSLINK cable at the same time and am very happy. Thank God I did not to have to buy a powered one, as I am running out of sockets. ;-) Can recommend. Price seems to be on the lower end compared to the competition.
