It does put out a good about of air flow for its size and ran nicely at 1500 rpms when testing. I see the reviews of some going bad after a year or two of use. One thing I liked about this fan is the fact I could add bearing grease to it as it has a removable rubber stopper in the middle under the label. The fact that it is a sleeve bearing makes it wear out a bit faster than a fan with ball bearings, but I though it would be interesting to see the difference. The fan was quiet for a 1600 rpm fan and pushed plenty of air, It's rated 88.1 CFM and .41 amps DC 12v which fits perfectly with how much Wattage a wanted to use. I used it as a secondary fan on a 212 EVO cooler and it runs at about 1000 rpms normally and under a test load of 75-80% CPU was running at about 1500 rpms. Hopefully being able to add bearing grease will extend the life of the fan a bit more.

Not a slim fan!
This fan is advertised as a "slim" fan. It is not. It's a great fan, quiet and moves a lot of air. But if your case requires a "slim" fan, this isn't one!

Bearing Failed After 3 Months
I bought this fan to replace the same model fan that came with my CPU cooler. The original fan stopped working after about two years' use. The replacement from Amazon worked well until about a month ago (after two months' use) when I started to get intermittent chirps from the fan bearing. It took about a month, but the bearing chirp is almost constant now. I will be replacing this with a different model.Scythe Kaze-Jyuni SY1225SL12H 120x25mm 1600 rpm 3pin 33 dBA 88.11CFM Fan SKU: SY1225SL12H

Best fans I have used so far!
I purchased this based on the name, it sounded really nice. Other than that, it pushes a great amount of air and stays quiet. I used this to replace the fan on my Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler with 120mm PWM Fan (RR-212E-20PK-R2), as Cooler Master did not replace the fan with the exact same one. Works like a charm and my system stays cool. I purchased this through Platinum Micro, Inc.

Still moves a LOT of air after 2 years...a little loud but that's what you sign up for with this much CFM.

Worked well for almost 2 years
Bought 3 in Jul of 2012. 2 were install horizontally, flow side up, pulling air into my case. After 1.7 year of running 20 hours a day, they both have seized and failed. The one installed vertically is still running strong. Think about his when placing these fans in your case.

Amazed
I was simply amazed at the amount of airflow this thing has. I have two kinds of scythe case fans in my computer, this one and the more expensive scythe s-flex fans. Now i kind of regret buying the s-flex fans because these provide great airflow and aren't loud at all.
