Myfrenchlab vs VHL Pomenades Supersite
It is expensive but it is very good. It provides a lot of practice that can be repeated as many time as you want. I like it very much but it should be accessible after you class end. It is unfair to buy it and not be able to continue once the class is closed. Pearson should do something about it soon. There is another etext like this in VHL PromenadeS supersite that is easy to access and now I am working with it and I rather prefer myfrenchlab, however VHL allows you to follow the membership once you finish the class.

Too expensive
Through no fault of Amazon's, this product is unfortunately overpriced. Since I only needed access for one semester, it was frustrating to have to buy a textbook and an access code in order to be able to complete homework assignments. The product is great, however, and was really helpful when I needed extra time outside of class to master a vocab list or grammar topic. It also helped me to evaluate how prepared I was for our exams during class. I hopefully won't have to buy anything like this again, but it served its purpose well.

At best confusing, at worst detrimental
This is one of the worst instructional tools I have encountered. I am a PhD linguistics student taking French. The online component is at best confusing and at worst, detrimental. I am more often confused by the activity than educated. There are many issues. For one, if the browser crashes in the middle of the activity, then it counts as an attempt for which you receive a zero. Also, you can only use Internet Explore or Safari, and it has issues with both. Second, some of the answers require pure guess work. The feedback when you do not get an answer correct can be useless, i.e. listen again. Some concepts that are tested in the workbook are not even discussed in the text, i.e. composition of French phone numbers. Also many of activities are simple pattern recognition that do not rely on cognition and understanding and synthesis of concepts.I believe that this website is not worth approximately $100. I have learned other languages (German and Spanish)without website and feel I have done better just using a dictionary and a 501 verb book. This is a scam by Pearson Education. Do NOT buy this if you can avoid it.

Chez Nous: Pearson 'My French Lab' e-book
The electronic version of MyFrenchLab with Pearson eText -- Access Card -- for Chez nous: Branché sur le monde francophone (6-month access) (4th Edition) came as an access code number in a sealed package. I was able to access and operate the e-book and 'MyFrenchLab' immediately. It was more cost effective to buy it through Amazon than to purchase it through my university bookstore, and arrived in a timely fashion (4 days). I had no problems initiating the account and continue to open the digital accesses smoothly and immediately. I recommend the e-book version of Chez nous with the access to MyFrenchLab very highly, and found the best price at Amazon.com.

Only buy if needed for a specific course
This online section sucks, it freezes at the drop of a hat and many of the exercises are pointless and have multiple probable answers. Unless you are buying this to supplement a course you're going to have a bad time, and even then it's going to be awful.

Scam
Do NOT BUY unless you have an instructor course log on. Even then , it takes the instructor months to register and get their code. For individual study , you can not use at all without university participation.

Clean fast and accurate description
Honestly could not have gotten any better than that.... The shipping was fast and the code worked well and that to me was the most important thing.

Excellent
The access card allows you to view the book online, very useful. The activities online are very good, a mix of reading, listening and speaking.
