Baxton Studio Sacramento Mid-Century Dark Walnut Wood and Grey Faux Leather Dining Chairs (Set of 2)

I spent an exorbitant amount of time scouring the internet for affordable, mid-century-esque chairs of good quality. I’m VERY HAPPY with these.These chairs are surprisingly light yet feel very sturdy. The finish is very good—not perfect, but again, wonderful for the price. I also didn’t realize that most of the pieces (legs, frame) are REAL WOOD, not veneer (seat backs might be veneer).I actually ordered two sets and the chairs came promptly and well-packaged (two boxes). I was really surprised at how light each box was. Assembly was overall easy. I did it alone and I think I averaged about 20 minutes per chair. The hardest part is that there are screws that are VERY difficult to reach with the tool provided given the angles and the way the wood is cut. Also, they definitely have a noticeable, unpleasant odor when they’re new, but after a day the scent is almost gone.

There are issues with both chairs received. The first thing I notice was that one had some kind of feces on it. While assembling the first chair, one of the wood boards was constructed wrong and leaves the chair comepletely useless. The second chair is literally an inch off balance. Neither chair sits level, and both chairs I’ve deemed a waste. Very disappointed.

Awesome set of chair with high quality materials. A tad time consuming to assemble, but for the price, I wouldn't complain!

Look just like the photos. Solid. Does take about 40 min per chair to assemble.People commented on assembled chairs being unsturdy alas, If you put a drop of wood glue into each screw hole before drilling the screw in & into each wood dowel hole, they will be more sturdy.

While we love the look of these chairs - we only have 3 because one of them cams unable to be assembled. Meaning, it didn’t have a pre cut area about 2in x 1in for the leg support like the other three. It was simply defective. So now we have a dining room with three chairs and no one way to purchase just one to match the others. No one from the company has responded to our complaint or sent a replacement part.

Bought 2 sets of these chairs. First set was great, but second set had one chair missing a part and the other fell apart as we put it together. We have reached out to the company multiple times via email and phone and haven’t received a response. Sadly, can not recommend these chairs.

I liked the look of these but my husband is 200lbs and these felt like they could not hold him. Definitely would not hold up long term. We returned them.

I love these chairs! I ordered them to go with a table I had purchased from Target. The chairs come two to a box and are pretty easy to assemble. Admittedly the first one took me some time to get together, but after that it was smooth sailing. They look great and feel solid to sit on. Not wobbly very sturdy.

I've had these chairs for a few months now and they are exactly as pictured, and an easy build!
