I read some of the reviews after I placed the order, but before I received it. I was worried that it was going to be a cheap, flimsy product. It isn't that at all! I (and my son, whom this was intended for) LOVE that Camp Crystal Lake is written on the handle. It doesn't show it in the photo, I will agree with that, BUT that would have been the selling point for us! It's perfect for my son's Halloween costume!

This product was so awesome for the costume we needed it for. It held up to playtime beforehand and rough housing (because kids) and didn’t break even after we were done using it for Halloween. It’s made with quality materials and really holds up.

I bought this for my 7 year old son to go with his scary clown costume for Halloween. Out of all the fake knives on Amazon, this is the one he picked. He loves it! It is much larger than we expected. It's plastic, so it's not going to hold up forever but it served the purpose for Halloween.

This is okay for a cheap costume prop or for a Halloween decoration. It looks better from a distance than close up. Close up you'll notice that it's a cheap piece of plastic. It might be good for a yard display meant to be viewed in low light or at a distance. What you don't see in the picture is that the other side of the handle reads "Property of Camp Crystal Lake". In the picture, the blade looks metallic, but in person it's really just gray plastic. I'm not upset about the purchase. I just wish it looked more like the picture, but then again, for $7.xx, I should have known better.

My husband placed the order initially, so I was expecting the item to look like the main pic I'm the advertisement but it looks like the one in the second. Which is ok, I personally wouldn't have paid this for that BUT in terms of it matching the site, it does. It also arrived on time and packaged well. Will work nicely for my son's Jason costume this Halloween 🎃👻

Lightweight but still sturdy. As you can see, my boyfriend had fun with it.

The product they shipped looks nothing like the photo. In the product photo you can see that the machete even has a slight curve along the back and the handle is smaller and has a rounded end. This blade is straight and the handle is huge and boxy with a square end. Because of the cost I'm going to try to work with it and apply silver paint and try to make it look realistic but this is fraud.
