UPERFECT OLED Portable Monitor 16", 3K 2880x1800, 120Hz, 1ms, 500 Nits, 100% DCI-P3, 10-Bit, 100000:1 Contrast, Ultra-Slim Design

I am reviewing this device as a tool for photography only.I have been using this as an external monitor for my on location shoot for the past 2 years.Positive:sleek and lightweight design. Easier to carry than a same size laptop. That is one reason to use this to replace laptop for tethering.Relative bright compare to regular computer monitor. Rich color and great image quality from every view angle. Actually my photo looks better on this screen than on my camera screen. Which is good give client good impression about my photo.Can be powered by power bank. I have onerated as 30000mah that can easily power it for a whole day shoot (8-10 hours).Longevity is good. Used it many many times through the past 2 years. Took it everywhere abuse it quite a lot. It still works fine. So I think if you only use it at home it can last forever.Great vaule for what it is and how I use it.Negative:The mini hdmi port is not ideal for the type of works I use it for. I constanly need to plug in and out of the cable. As a result it starts to lose signal. I did find a solution to work around it. I bought an mini hdmi to hdmi adpater. and never lose signal again on set while doing photoshoot. I think this device is not meant to be used for this kind of purpose. So just something to pay attention if you have same usage as mine.The color temperature right out of the box is pretty poor. The preset inside looks off. Good thing is that you can adjust the RGB level to your reference. At the end I am able to get close enough that it is no longer an issue for my usage. But if you only use it for movie and game, I think you will never notice this issue.Overall it did a good job which is to replace a laptop for tethering on shoot. And for that purpose I recommend this device.

I purchased this monitor to use as a second monitor on my laptop computer. I used to have a full desktop desk setup but over time laptops have gotten better and work well for what I use them for, work with some occasional gaming. The only problem with getting rid of the desk was the lack of a second screen which definitely slowed me down when I was working. My goal was to have a second screen when I used my laptop in bed but in practice it wasn't as good as I thought it would be. But setting up on a table it works fine. It's thin and the cover does a good job at protecting it. I'm able to throw it in my laptop backpack with my laptop easily. The picture quality on it is great. Colors pop and are accurate, and it's pretty bright. The only weak point are the built in speakers. They work but they aren't that loud and don't have any bass so it's best to hook up the headphones. If you don't like the default picture mode presets you can do some basic tweaks with contrast, saturation etc. I've also hooked up my Xbox One and PS4 to the screen and games look great on it so whenever I'm taking extended work trips I bring a console and hook it up to this monitor, allowing me to not deal with the in room TV. Admittedly I thought the HDR might've been "fake" HDR because of the price of the screen but it's not. It's real HDR10 and the Xbox and PS4 etc will detect the display as being HDR capable. Unfortunately the Xbox only allows you to use HDR with 4k so while it's detected you won't be able to use it on this monitor. But if you go to YouTube you can enable HDR videos as well on your laptop. All in all I'm impressed by this monitor and would definitely recommend it to anyone needing a portable second screen or just a screen that's easy to travel with. My laptops are 14" so for me the 15" screen was perfect. Not too big but likewise not tiny either.

I'm a software engineer, work from home full time, and am accustomed to using two 27" monitors attached to my 2017 MacBook Pro. However, when I am away from home, working on just the laptop's display is so limiting. This portable monitor along with my Mac's display is a nice compromise and allows me to have two reasonably sized displays to do my work while away from home.I've been away from home doing my work with this portable monitor for a week now, for at least 8 hours per day, and it has performed flawlessly. It's very bright and has a very respectable picture for what it is. I have had NO issues with flickering or turning on/off. The case that came with it has strong enough magnets to allow it to stand without issue, and the case seem to provide adequate protection. The Mini HDMI port also works fine. I connected my gen-4 FireTV Stick without issue. The brightness control also works fine. I typically run it all day with the brightness set to 50%.When I first set it up, I could not get my 2017 MacBook Pro to recognize this portable monitor, which was really concerning. I'm technically adept and was frustrated that I could not do something as simple as connect an external monitor. I was getting close to either contacting support or just returning it all together. I was running an older version of Montery, so I finally tried decided to try installing the latest updates to MacOS to see if it would resolve the problem. Low and behold, the updates fixed the problem! This monitor works like a champ, and I love it! What a difference in my perspective from just 20 minutes earlier!Now, don't get me wrong here. This monitor should be expected to perform like a high end full-size monitor. I don't know how it would be for gaming, but I certainly would not expect it to be handle heavily graphics intensive games. The built-in speakers are understandably small, so I know not to expect much from them and am happy to have an audio output jack for an external speaker if I need it. For normal work and watching movies while away from home, I've been pleasantly surprised by the performance of this monitor. The only change I'd like to see is an additional USB-C input on the right side of the monitor.
