I always read the reviews before I purchase anything. I thought about these curtains for a week before deciding to buy them. I'm so glad I did!While reading the reviews I noticed positive and negative ones. I'll share my thoughts on the negative.   Wrinkles and packaging:There were few wrinkles in mine. So little that I decided not to iron them. I feel like they will fall out on their own. They were packaged extremely well in a thick, sealed plastic bag and folded very nicely. I expected wrinkles because of what I'd read but I just didn't see many. There were creases in the material where they were folded but not a lot of wrinkles. And no, they weren't in the usual sort of bag like you usually see at Target or other stores with pictures and descriptions. But I saw no issue with that. It was professionally packaged. Not just a panel that someone had folded and stuffed in a plain bag. Edited: A week has gone by and the few wrinkles I mentioned have fallen out like I thought they would.   Colors not matching:I purchased the (W100 x L84) and the (W52 x L95) and both panels were the exact same color. No differences like some others experienced. I chose the color cappachinno and wow what a beautiful color. Different lengths:Both of my panels were the perfect length just like described. Blackout or room darkening:These curtains are thick. There's nothing thin about them. I turned the bright lights on in my kitchen last night. My sunroom is on the other side. I put my face to the glass and could not see anything inside my kitchen. I looked at pictures people put on here and in some pictures the panels looked so sheer and looked like a lot of light coming through. I didn't understand that at all except I did notice some weren't hung all the way to the floor which I think is important for keeping light out. They are anything but sheer. They are even slightly heavy. The material is soft. I love the way they feel.Room darkening? I don't have any sun coming through these windows or door because the sunroom is on the other side. But during the day, when closed and lights are off my kitchen is dark. They definitely darken my kitchen a lot.Blackout? I'd say they are the closest you will get to curtains that say blackout. These panels are made of a soft material that you don't get with a lot of panels that say blackout. I can't express enough how much I love the feel of these panels.     Thermal?I'll find out in the winter if they hold the cold out (My sunroom which is the room behind the windows and door is not heated so it gets cold in there). I think they will help because they aren't thin curtains. Rusty Grommets:The grommets were not rusted like some received their's. I looked closely at mine. I would have sent them back if they were rusted. They give the panels an extra nice look. I loved them!As you can see in the pictures the larger panel is covering a door and a window. When I ordered them I wasn't thinking about the brace needed in the center for extra support. How was I going to pull the panel over to one side so that we could open the door? I hung the center brace. Then I counted the grommets. There were 14. I put the center grommet through the brace. This let's us pull the panel over but not all the way over. Look at picture of opened panel. That's as far as I can pull it over because the brace stops it there. But I don't really need the panel to slide all the way over. Keeping the window covered is okay with me. I just needed to be able to pull it past the door. Curtain rod I chose:Kenny 5/8" Beckett Decorative Window Curtain Rod (for heavier curtains they also have 3/4" or 1" diameter rods). I really wanted the 1" diameter rods but they are a lot more expensive. So I chose thinner rods and I think they look just fine.I chose the 48-86" length. They also have these in 28-48").There are four other colors. I chose the oil rubbed bronze.I was lucky enough to need them while they were on sale. I saved $8.09. A 40% savings. Wow! Another reason I love Amazon!To sum things up I have nothing negative to say about these panels. I love everything about them. I'm going to order more for the bedrooms upstairs. I highly recommend these panels!

Love the fabric! Came timely and clean, easy to hang, almost no wrinkles!Love the feel of the fabric, keeps daylight out approx. 80% just enough light left to see without turning on a lamp.I used them in my bedroom, purchased the light gray ones 104” wide 84” long. Needed for 16’ Wall to cover 1 window and 1 double door. Needed 10 panels to make it look nice and tight, good insulation in Vegas heat! Feel the difference!

I received this a couple of hours ago and hung it on my patio doors. It was -6 outside. You could feel the chill radiating through double panes of glass with louver blinds sandwiched in between. As soon as I drew this curtain, I could FEEL the difference immediately. No more aggressive cold blasting through the glass or the tiny gap between French doors.The fabric has a nice hand, soft and smooth--not ultra dry and shiny like I anticipated. The back is the same color as the front so the curtain will also look good from outside. The creases from the packaging are already dropping out nicely, but I will probably steam it later to make it look its best.It also blocks all the light. The photo shows it pulled partially across my patio doors. Other light in the room is coming from a window opposite the doors. (I hung this a little off the floor because my patio is off the kitchen. If you let the panel pool on the floor, it will block light and drafts at the bottom of the door as well.)You would need another panel for the full look in the manufacturer picture, but not to achieve the practical effects of room darkening and insulation. Also, the hem is slightly uneven, curving up on the right side. I am not subtracting stars for these minor issues because they don't affect the performance of the curtain and frankly, it's SO much nicer than I expected for the price. Will definitely order NICETOWN curtains again.

Very impressed. I have two windows in my bedroom that are 40 inches wide each. I got the 100 inch curtains in platinum and they fall beautifully. The fabric is soft and the wrinkles from being packaged fell out very quickly. I didn't need to iron them. The platinum is a little lighter than I was expecting, but I still like the color.

These curtains (I bought 2 panels for my balcony sliding glass door) surpassed my expectations. They are wonderful for the price. They don't look cheap, the fabric is thick but not overly heavy and is softer than I had expected. The grommets are not only functional, but add an extra touch of class to the overall look of the curtains. I got these in the cappuccino color and was worried, because brown can go really wrong, but I am very happy with the nice understated hue. As another reviewer had mentioned, I decided to throw them in the dryer for a bit after removing them from the package, and this removed any wrinkles and creases before I hung them. I highly recommend these curtains.

Love them! They are thick, light blocking and great quality. They made a huge difference in our bedroom. The color is so beautiful! Really happy with this purchase.

We have a large window in the front room of our house. These extra wide curtains saved me from having to buy multiple panels at the store or online. Two of these panels covered our 120" window beautifully. While they are not total black out curtains, they still do an excellent job! On time shipping and good quality curtains. You won't be disappointed!

Just a spectacular colour! It matches my dracaena limelight PERFECTLY!Also for those wondering, these curtains are the exact same material, size, stitching, right down to the same grommets as the Deconova brand curtains.The two images show curtains drawn at 5pm on a south facing window. One image is with the houselights on and the other with them off.As for the smell some have commented on, I haven’t noticed this. After taking a Fabric Science course years ago one learns it’s imperative to wash anything fabric before use. This is due to the fact that chemicals are used to preserve almost all fabric material during the manufacturing process. Some bolts of fabric may sit around in a warehouse for 10-20 years or more, until a buyer purchases it.The curtains wash (cold) and dry (low, no drier sheet) beautifully and all I can smell is my Gain detergent.Would highly recommend these curtains, especially this colour!

I needed blackout curtains for my children's room. Previously they only had room darkening and they were letting in to much light in the morning and waking them up earlier than they wanted.These blackout curtains seemed like they would be decent but they have not met my expectations. While they are darker than my old curtains they still let significant light in during daylight hours, even on a cloudy day. Why these are listed as blackout curtains makes no sense to me as they do not black out the room. I have owned blackout curtains in the past that have performed well, these do not.My solution to get the room fully dark is to put me old room darkening curtains behind these blackout curtain, and now the room is quite dark, but I should not have had to do that.If you are looking for actual blackout curtains, look elsewhere.

Love them and so does my girls as you can see from the pics purple is the theme of their room they match perfectly, nap time is a breeze they block out the light perfectly. In fact they do a better job of my own bedroom curtains so I plan on getting myself some.

Calling these blackout curtains is a joke. I've had non-blackout curtains that blocked more light. Maybe the darker colors do a little better, but the light gray ones are practically see-through. The only reason I'm giving this two stars instead of one is that they're actually nice-looking curtains. I just wish they actually helped make the room darker as I expected them too.
