Revo Quick-Release Frame for GoPro HERO3, HERO3+, and HERO4

Excellent fit, easy to use, and it maintains access to the battery compartment and other controls. I use this to hold my Hero 3 in place w/a suction cup to an airplane windshield and it holds up fantastically well. No issues at all.

This frame allows me to quick remove and install in an airplane. After hundreds of remove and installs I broke the little legs in the clamp lever. Probably my fault. Replaced with this identical unit. My application puts extra loads on the mount because it has a large extended capacity battery on the back and cables connected for radio and intercom recording.

got the frame today and tried it out. Fit was great,and it clamps like the gopro model.THE only one that has clamps. I would give it 4 stars exceptthe button on the side does (settings button) not work with the frame on. No big deal because I have a touch screen to activate settings on the hero4 silver. All in all the fit and finish were top notch. Can't beat the price compared to the gopro price

Does what it is intended to do. It is plastic, so is a little scary squeezing the GoPro into it and out of it -- keep expecting it to break. But so far so good. Maybe it just feels flimsy? Will buy another, just in case. (At this price you can afford an extra for a spare.) The little silver clip to retain the LCD screen or extended battery works well once you get the hang of how to position it to get the camera set. I DO recommend this. Solid frame, and it works great with official GoPro mounting hardware. Fits my Hero3 Black perfectly.

Way better that the old one. Easy to put on and take off, fits with all the other GoPro accessories I already have and helps with the sound on your recordings.

Works great. Holds the camera well. Easy in and out. Nice that slots are accessible while camera is mounted in the frame.

Only downside is that the top button doesn’t protrude, so it’s hard to set without looking directly at it.
