It takes time - Be patient!
We had a massive amount of rain this summer, which is very abnormal. The heat and rain caused a constant battle with algae!! We tried every product on the market. The rain also caused the PH in my water to be way out of balance and I lost about 15 large koi after a huge 3 day torrential downpour. I drained half my pond and refilled (with well water), just to try to get the levels normal again, but this caused quite a bit of algae (normal after adding that much water) Since my remaining 5 fish were already stressed from the PH levels, I decided to try the aquaplancton. My green water turned bright neon green and extremely cloudy. I thought for sure I had lost my last 5 fish. I didn't touch it for 4 weeks, but continued to run my filters and such. On week 5 the water was looking amazingly more clear and I could actually see the bottom of my koi pond. It was no longer green. I added a tiny amount of barley clarifier to clear it up the rest of the way and now it looks incredible!! My 5 remaining fish were swimming around and happy as could be!!! They survived the clearing of massive green algae even though I didn't apply fish food but once a week - just in case they were still swimming in there. I am happy that I didn't have to add any more chemicals to my pond since my fish were in such bad stress.

Be patient this stuff works!
My small pond gets algae every year and nothing seems to help much so bought 5 pounds a while back to use at the first sign of algae which was in April. The stuff made my pond very milky for almost 10 days and then cleared but it did not stop the algae growing. I called the company and a helpful person there took me through a bunch of questions to help identify what might be happening and it seems I had too many fish. I finally got someone to take the largest ones and by then the pond was dark green. I added a small second dose of the product and it cleared the algae in two weeks. Product made the water look worse for a few days but in the end it was the only one that worked for me and the help I got from the company was great.

Works for some, but not me
I'm afraid it did not work for me in my 1,000 gallon pond. Talked to the seller (who responded by phone to my request for assistance) and verified I'd followed the correct procedure. Made the water very cloudy for weeks, but did not affect the algae growth, at all. I tested the water and the only thing slightly out of the norm was my phosphate level, which was only one step above the recommended point. Will it work for you? Maybe, but at least the seller is good about follow up if you have issues.

Aquaplancton
This Aquaplancton is crap we put it in our koi pond and we haven't seen our fish since. I don't see how they can breath in it because it's so thick.i would not buy again. Our pond is a big mess we have to drain and clean it out.We bought this what a big mistake! We went to our local farm store they fixed us up with copper Sulfate Crystals! We can see our fish now. I believe the Aquaplancton was baking flour!

WOW - Worked really well for us
When we moved into our current home it came along with a small garden pond with waterfall, no fish, installed by the previous owner. It had serious algae and murkiness issues. I applied about a pound from this 5 pound bag of Aquaplankton and it took maybe a couple weeks to really start seeing results, but WOW, all algae has been 100% eliminated, water has become clear as a bell, with all manner of birds and critters constantly stopping by for a drink, and has stayed that way for a good 4 months so far.Highest recommendation.

Amazing product
Wow, no basketweed all summer. Will use this from now on. My fishpond is 12' diameter, and 4' deep in the center, and no filtering system. Lots of fish, lilies, other plants. One container did it.

Clear again
Works perfectly. I have a very small pond so I wish they sold small bags. I originally put too much in so I removed the water but left the product in the bottom and refilled the pool. Then it was fine, not sure if it would have settled down itself and it was looking pretty bad but now is clear and clean

Slow but works GREAT
We kept having problems with algae and green water in our small water feature pond. It ended up taking more than recommended but after calling the owner/creator he was very knowledgeable and helped us get on track and now its better than its ever been!!
