I lost the original data cable and tried many others, but none worked. It turns out that only the dedicated Kindle cable can connect to the computer. This cable fits very tightly, so my device came back to life—I thought it was broken. The material is great, the quality is good, but it’s a bit expensive.

Looks more durable than my old cable. Fits and replaces my worn out Kindle Cable perfectly. I have a spare now also for my paperwhite. Perfect cord length for charging on my desk. Great value.

Great procuct that fits well into the Kindle slot, it does not have a plug. This is in the description of the product. You can "plug" it into a computer or adaptive plug for your outlet.

Two different cables were in the package--one for the old style kindle and one for the new style. It was very helpful to have the choice. The cord works well. I just plug my kindle in when I go to bed at night and it's charged by morning. My kindle got a new chance with this economical cable.

When this arrived it came with two cables for two different models of Kindle. I used the appropriate one, but the Kindle didn't charge. I'm still giving five stars because I don't think it was the fault of the cable. I need to contact customer support about the reader, but the cables look solid.

Two cables - one is bound to work for your Kindle. This charged my Kindle Paperwhite quickly and the length is more convenient than the cable which came with the Kindle. HIghly recommended, especially at this price.
