Totaly LOVE this Tim Holtz Distress Mini Ink Pads!!!
I was so excited to receive my Tim Holtz Distress Mini Ink Pads that match my Tim Holtz Distress Crayons! The possibilities are endless to all I can do with these great products! I can only imagine the creativity these will inspire in my future projects. These Distress ink pads correspond with my Distress Crayons and it's so cool to use both of these mediums. Great idea's to stimulate any creativity you have in mind.

Great ink pads!
Love these distress inks! Their small size makes them more versatile in different techniques I use for rubber stamping and stamping directly to paper. These inks react to water which give a fantastic look to your creations. I bought the Tim Holtz storage container which I highly recommend to keep them organized. The other nice thing about these ink pads is they're inexpensive and you get more colors for your bucks.

Good inks, frustrating containers.
What I like about them:1) The inks blend nicely with water and are easy to use with a small paint brush.2) The units are small & don't take up much space.3) The units stack together - well, they sort of stack togetherWhat I don't like about them (and I REALLY REALLY don't like)1) The units stack together BUT they don't snap together 100%. That means, you think the stack is moveable, you grab it in the middle and the whole thing falls apart, sending lids and ink pads helter skelter. At best, it's annoying having to retrieve bits and pieces from all over. At worst, it is disastrous when the open, falling ink pads land on a project, ruining it.2) When stacked, the lid of one snaps to the bottom of the one above it more securely than it does to its own base. I broke the stack apart on purpose 10 times to see if the bases ever stayed with the lids. 100% fail. When I use an ink, I want the base and top TOGETHER, not the base exposed with its lid stuck to the one above it.3) In the middle of a project, I keep these inks stacked. When I need a certain color I take the stack (read #1 directly above) and if it doesn't fall apart I have to go through every ink pad to find the color I need.4) The containers seem poor quality. What could the manufacturer do to improve them?1) Make the lid and the base truly snap together.2) Have each unit rest on the one below it, but not semi/psuedo-snap together3) Label the unit (color's name) from the side so it is easier to find the desired color (see pics)This may all sound picky, but I use them a lot, so I am frustrated a LOT. Tim Holtz.....find a different container manufacturer for your inks. :)

Some seem nicely wet with ink
Just getting started with using this product. Some seem nicely wet with ink, while others seem a bit dry. I doknow that they are to be stored upside down, and mine are now labeled and stored properly. Did seem to makesome improvement, but not entirely. For me, I just need some time to practice. I was a bit disappointed thatthe lids fall off so easily. Think a design improvement is needed. Colors seem good.

Perfect little ink pads
Great little stamp pads. I've used these in a variety of ways and enjoy mixing the colors. Small stamps are super for these, but I've also used large ones too. Great for shading, blending, stencils, overlays and just about anything one can imagine. Love knowing I can pack up many of these for my classes and save a lot of room. I never go wrong with Tim Holtz products.

Great small size for crafting!
I’ve been wanting these Distress Inks from Tim Holtz for a while. I make greeting cards and mainly use alcohol markers but I do enjoy blending inks from these ink pads. Getting the mini ink pads was a great way to test out colors. I have ordered the Distress Oxide inks as well and cannot wait to receive those. Blending the inks was OK. I do need more practice. But there’s lots of ink in these little pads. I got every colour that was advertised in the listing. No duplicates. I’m pretty happy with my purchase.

I love these mini ink pads.
I love these mini ink pads and would definitely buy them again. They are so easy to blend on your page. I was disappointed that the black one almost does not work as there is almost no ink on it. I have not been able to find where I can purchase ink to put on it so I do not know what to do about it.
