I bought a dark brown shirt then realized I had no dark brown boots or shoes. I did have a pair of older suede boots and remembered there was such a thing as a leather dye.I opted for this brand as the ones without alcohol were only three ounces and I wanted to have enough. I read in the reviews that the swab included with the dye was ineffective, so I bought a cheap brush from a paint store. It took me all of ten minutes to change the color. I let them dry overnight then used silicon spray to seal them. They look GREAT, like new! They do not rub off on other surfaces.You can use dye not just to change color but to freshen shoes that are worn-looking.For some reason. this review won't take my photos.

I have used this product in different colors several times. We have teenage boys and several pets so buying brand new furniture every time there’s a scratch on the leather is not possible. I originally found this on Pinterest in a blog and bought it a few years back to try it on a high-quality leather sofa set. It worked fantastic! I just recently used this after Christmas on a high-quality living room side chair. I was looking for some thing in a burnished burgundy and was able to make this work. Here is what I did: mix warm water, 50/50 ratio with white vinegar. Put on gloves used a rag and wiped the entire chair down. Allowed to dry. Took everything out of the package. There is an included applicator and then the stain. I poured the stain out on a foam plate and got a rag. Remember to use gloves this is an important part! With Michael Lozon, I took my rag and started rubbing the dyeonto the chair in circular motions. You need to work fairly quickly. It only took me about 35 minutes total as you work fairly quickly in circular motions. It works best to allow it to dry overnight and then do a topcoat protectant. I’ve used their wrestling and then I just used their Leather sheen ….. despite packaging. I think these are the same thing. It is very thin and it goes over the stain and gives you a nice protective layer. I put multiple coats on as this chair is used daily. I applied this topcoat with a clean, dry rag again, rubbing in circles. I’m extremely happy with the results! if you’re thinking of getting rid of a piece of furniture that is still comfortable, but needs a touchup I would highly suggest trying this out!

I purchased the light brown and applied the dye and resolene per the instructions. My boots and belt have an absolutely stunning finish, but they're definitely not "Light brown."

We had a 20+ year old leather chair that the seat and ottoman has been badly abused by dogs climbing on it repeatedly. Aside from that, it was in good shape. We remodeled our living room and figured it was time to go. But I’ve always liked my old chair, very comfortable, so I figured for a few bucks, I’d try reconditioning out. So happy I did because it now looks like new!The product is great. Here’s what I learned along the way for anyone who wants to give it a try.1. Color didn’t match existing chair so it ended up being a total dye project rather than a touch up. No problem.2. I did not use the pre dye process as recommended by the manufacturer because I thought it would be a touch up only. Time will tell if that affects the longevity.3. I painstakingly applied the dye with the dabber and after it dried, it left streaks.4. So i bought another bottle and applied that with a pillowcase rag. I dumped the dye into an a small cup and really saturated the rag. I took painstaking efforts to apply in a circular pattern and go over it several times so to leave no streaks.5. Let that dry overnight then applied a leather conditioner as a finishing touch.I couldn’t be happier with the results. You can’t even see where the scratches are unless you look very carefully. Now if I can only keep the dog off the chair!Good luck with your project.

I just finished my first pair of boots. The dye works great and is easy to apply. Two coats and they look great. Would highly recommend this product.

Habe mit der Farbe meine Motorrad Stiefel von braun nach schwarz gefärbt.Hält super und ist einfach zu verarbeiten.Färbt dickes Leder richtig tief .
