Z Tactical Miltary Heavy Duty Bowman EVO III Headset Earpiece War Game Airsoft

Excellent. I run LMG for my squad in airsoft and milsim games. Comms are key to winning. I love this headset. It is a bit hard to fit with my fast style helmet  OneTigris Multifunctional Tactical Helmet Airsoft Paintball Fast Helmet with Protect Goggles (Tan)  However with some tweaks to the helmet padding I can use this with my goggles no problem. I did have to play with the headband adjusters to get it to my comfort level a little bit. Once I did, I was good to go. I sometimes wear a mesh metal mask that clips into the helmet too and the mic picks up my voice with no problem and little to no background noise. Earpiece is loud and clear. I suggest turning volume down as well as calling just in case you get blasted in the ear mid firefight. For a PTT system I use this:  WishRing Z-Tactical U94 PTT Military Adapter PTT for Motorola Radio 2.5MM T5200 6200C  in conjunction with the motorola MD200 series:  Motorola MD200TPR FRS Two-Way, 20 Mile Radio Triple Pack (Black)  This keeps us always on comms and makes the baddies surprised that we always know what's going on. This whole system works great with the above products.

I needed this for a field mission in a week for my radio and it was delivered very very fast and it seems good for the money, but on prong is bent and the other is broken off. I'm sending it back thru kohl's to exchange but how would I get one here before next thursday or do I have to wait for the return to process

At first I was disappointed with this headset. I was hoping for modern military unissued surplus. In hindsight that was a fools hope. I was going to be using the headset in airsoft gaming and not in actual combat in the global war on terror! The headset is perfect for airsoft and any activity where hands free communication is either helpful or required.Just keep in mind that this headset is not military surplus and far from milspec. These were meant to be a lower priced alternative for noncombat use. They will not stand up to the prolonged and hard use, but are perfect for airsoft. I am very pleased with this headset. You can connect them to a portable radio, cellphone, and I even found a way to use them in video gaming (but only as headphones and not multiplayer online two way communication).

I bought this to use during our hunting trip and after using it on the one trip it actually performed really well. The sound is really clear, the mic picks up sound just fine and it is reasonably comfortable for what it is. I used it with a WishRing Z-tactical U94 PTT Military Adapter on a Baofeng uv-5r. Other than that there really isn't much to say. It works fine so far for what I am using it for.

Cheap and it worked upon testing, but I used it for the cable and microphone. Customized the pieces with new connectors to make my own tactical headset with Peltor sports electronic muffs. Was WAY cheaper than the $ 400+ for the real thing and I read about the Z-Tactical stuff being pretty marginal in comfort and quality. But even if you used these as they come out of the box, the price can't be beat. Use it paired with Baofeng UV-B5 after reading some great reviews on that particular unit. Very durable apparently.

It's plastic which is not what I expected. Cheap head band and had freighing stitching first trying it on. However, it does work with an adaptor and radio. Good for airsoft but not much else.
