Bright Pencil spot
I always felt like I was overdriving my combo "spot" and spread beam light bars and brights on my first gen tundra, with these that is nolonger possible. With the lights focused at the same point, and the right gradually inclining straight road these will just barely begin to light up the road exactly 1 mile off!! At a half mile I can start to spot things in the road and I have a quarter mile of good usable light.I have these mounted on my roof back on the front of the canopy shell. they took quite a while to dial in and get perfectly lined up for optimal driving performance. i looked online for information on aiming pencil beams to get started and then just went from there. The great feeling build quality has me wondering how these were only $80.Honestly they feel much more sturdy than my dads old Hella rallye 3000s with plastic body...great lights worth the money, i might get 2 or 4 more later on down the road or maybe will look into a steering controlled light mount just to aim them a little bit into the twists.

Awesome spot lights. Very bright and focused.
I installed these on my FJ Cruiser on the factory brush bars. I have not tested their power draw, but they are much brighter than my factory high beams. So, I am inclined to believe the manufacturers rating. They are very focused due to the deep reflectors. I tested them by shining them across a river. The trees on the far bank were about 1000 feet (300m) away. The lights produced 2 round illuminated patches of light. They were each about 100ft in dia. I couldn't really see much reflection from my factory high beams. These are the first led off road spot lights I've run. Over the last few months during the summer and into the winter; They seem to work well. I would recommend them to anyone who needs supper bright spot lamps.Do not use these if you need flood lamps. They will not work well for that application. I wish the manufacturer offered a diffusion lenses to turn them into flood lamps. It would make them more versatile.Over all a good value for money and they seem to hold up well.

THESE SPOTS ARE BRIGHT!!!
First off...these are true SPOT LIGHTS! Not flood or work lights...SPOT LIGHTS! They are amazing, even for the price. I bought these hoping they were true pencil beams. I use them when we're on the beach or out in the middle of nowhere West Texas...and they have yet to disappoint.

Throw decent light, but mfg. quality is what you should expect at this price
Throw decent light, housing and connectors are solid, lens might be on the thin side, mounting bracket is junk. But all-in-all a good value for folks not willing to shell out for KCs or other high-end off-road lights.

Powerful well made
Can't believe how powerful they are... Draw very low amps.Ps: don't require higher voltage (as someone wrote) I tried and no visible difference. EDIT: Just ordered an other set... The best spot I've ever used... Bright, focused, strong built, love these lights...Let's see if they last...

Don't buy
I'm not a shill. I'm not getting paid for this item. In fact I'm loosing money because of this. These lights are not bright. They don't light up anywhere near as far as they claim. My flashlight lit up 2x as far and 3x as wide of an area as both of these lights. Granted it is a Streamlight. If you read about these lights, they use a 10w Cree chip but magically get 50W out of. (Another seller on Amazon has these for cheaper and disclosed this) On top of being no where near what they claim for light output, trying to return the item when you don't own a printer is impossible because UPS still wants to charge me to package the item in a box or bag when the lights are already in a box, just so I can use the free return QR code. Stay away from this item.

Not bad
They seem to be bright and the light goes a good distance. Lens sounds cheap and/or thin plastic. Have not installed them yet.
