I’m trying to connect a tv antenna but my tv has no coax connection on the back .  Can I use this to replace the coax and how do I do  it?

The 3 penny solution provided above works, but will only pull in stations within 25 miles of your home. I tried dimes once and it did increase my reception , but only be another 10 miles or so. Your best bet, if you are 30 or more miles from a station is coax pairs (pairing is important) one in and one out of a DC to optical TOS coax migrator (rack mounted versions are available) after re-installing Windows. Once that's all set fire up this 2TB storage miniature monster and you'll be getting gazillions of out of state CNN and FOX local news channels, not to mention all the stuff I wont mention cause it's too much typing. With all that set up I would be surprised if you didn't pull in the FCC. All at USB 3 speed! Do yourself a favor and don't monkey around with the penny setup unless or until you've been certified. But if you do go with making your own with cents, it's best to wear a mask to avoid any potential exposure to airborne zincoids discharging from the middle one. Either way it's 5 of one, half a dozen with one missing of the other.

Before it can be used as an external storage, when you first plug your drive into the USB port, on screen a question appears asking if you want to reformat your drive. Answer "Yes". And  just about a minute it will be ready to use as an external storage drive.
