Mopar 68052078AC Turn Signal Lamp

I waited a long time trying to find a cheap replacement lens for the turn signal indicators. I was pleased to find the whole assembly for less than $75 and even more surprised to find out (You Tube) how easy it was to replace. I was pleased again to see that this turn signal indicator actually strobes three bright flashes. It is great!Installation:I believe the original lenses were damaged upon factory install which caused the lens to come off so easily. THE ASSEMBLY HAS TWO PLASTIC FINS ON ONE SIDE THAT MAY PREVENT EASY INSERTION. I cut these fins off with a diagonal cutter and they popped easily into the opening. It appears that forcing these assemblies into the opening at the factory with the fins in place broke the casing and loosened the original lens. Probably the assembly is used on several different models and these fins aren't suitable on all of them. Mine is 2008 T&C.

This works but did not want to fit. I had to shave off some of the plastic to get it to fit in my 2008 Chrysler Town and Country Van. Also the blinker is a strobe-like flicker that I don't believe is the same as the original equipment.

Exact replacement, but a bit pricey. Up $6 each in only six months. Still cheaper than having the dealer change it out. New design with screw holding the lens instead of glue is much improved.
