G&S Hypo Watch Crystal Cement

Worked great. Glued a date magnifying window to a watch crystal. Result was clear and, so far, very strong.

Perfect cement for a replacement crystal for my antique Illinois Railroad Bunn pocket watch. Precise applicator tip for ease of application for this crystal. Recommend for anyone wanting close repair work for jewelry, etc.

I have tried every glue under the sun as a professional jeweler and this is the only one that for the most part works. However, this glue is only good for gluing down your crimps, I wouldn't really suggest if for heavy duty adhesion, for when I've tried, it always fails. Thankfully, resin has helped me in that area. But the glue does NOT turn yellow when it dries like E-6000 glue does. My only complaint is with just how hard it is to put the cap back on. For one the pin that goes into the hole of the tube is so small it makes it almost impossible to get back in unless you look under a magnifying glass. Also, I find that even after cleaning off the tube end and firmly putting the cap in place, the next time I use it glue is built up all in the cap which is a huge waste. I also wish that it wasn't so dang expensive.

I like the consistency of this glue. It is not thin and runny, and it has a needle in the cap that fits inside the spout. I usually have to wipe a drop away when I get the needle in the tip of the tube but at least the cap does not glue itself on. I like it better than other epoxy products I have tried and use it on stretchy cord for bracelets and when gluing on findings on satin cord or inside bead tips.

I've only used it a few times on a watch crystal, but I've used it for other purposes when a glue was needed and it works fine. Good stuff, have to order some more.

A small volume goes a long way

J'ai acheté ce tube de colle pour remettre en place l'écran qui s'était décollé du châssis de la montre et qui ne tenait plus que par le câble électronique qui les unissait. C'est une montre intelligente de plus de 300$ et j'avais beaucoup de peine de devour m'en débarrasser. Le bijoutier l'a recollé avec leur colle spéciale pour bijoux, mais le problème est revenu au bout de quelques jours. En dernier recours, j'ai acheté cette colle sur Amazon et ça semble fonctionner à merveille pour ce besoin particulier. Ça fait environ 3 semaines que j'ai utilisé cette colle et ma montre est comme neuve. Espérons que ça va durer longtemps. Je recommande.

I needed to install a new watch crystal, this cement did the job. The thin needle applicator helped get just the right amount along the edges. The crystal is solidly in place with no chance of falling out. The watch looks like new again.
