It is not all that bad overall, but I think it is overpriced for what you get. The installation is simple but difficult to remove when needed. It can scratch the laptop heavily if you are not careful when installing or removing the cover. The quality is cheap plastic, nothing special. If you are unable to find another option, then this will work just fine. However, if you have another, better option, best to go with that.

I picked the dark blue colour and it was extremely elegant.Installation too easy even without the printed instructions booklet.The only missing thing is the mark or graving on the top cover that would identify the laptop's front side. I sticked a nice sticker, problem solved

This case come in two pieces, the one for the top which fits the lid of the laptop perfect, however the bottom bit doesn't snap onto the laptop leaving half of my laptop unprotected.Not worth AED 50 for this.

After reading some reviews I felt it may be bad quality. For the price it is as you could imagine. It’s very snug for the top so I put it in in the opposite fashion as I was worried about the screen. Overall no drama but I leave my case on long term. If you change/remove it frequently maybe it will be a problem.

Case got a classy finish. Very durable. Specially if you are on the move.

As described. Fits nice on my bear MacBook Pro 16” but with a skin it becomes tighter. I recommend it because it shows the beauty of your MB.A little Con.A bit reflective

I received a plastic piece of Garbage, and i paid for 70 AED!!!! I would never suggest this to anyone even if it’s 10Aed, even scratched my mac while I was trying to instal it, eventually I threw it and I’m going to a proper shop to get something rubbery

First one I bought was a really tight fit on the lid. Each time I got one end on, the other would pop off. Eventually got it fitted but the first time I took my laptop out for the day a corner piece had broken off while inside my laptop bag.Ive returned that one and ordered another replacement. This was a much better fit. Went on with no trouble and so far has held up absolutely fine. (But I guess time will tell!).No issues with the bottom piece.I’ve used these types of covers in the past. Eventually they chip or crack in certain spots and the matt like coating on the plastic gets worn and scuffed but at £15 so long as it lasts a year (my last one lasted 6 years and is still on my old laptop today) then I think they are good value for basic protection without adding too much bulk.I prefer these to a sleeve as my laptop bag provides the majority of protection while travelling. But these are great for avoiding general scuffs while using the laptop or carrying around the office without any need to keep taking it in and out from another sleeve. I also like that is makes it less obvious you are using a Mac if you’re trying to blend in with the other PC users in the office!

Updating my review to dock it a star.In addition to my original review below, this case actually causes the screen to have too much weight on the hinge and therefore the screen is not as tight as it should be. I found that the added weight actually caused my laptop screen to move backwards or forwards when it shouldnt havethe case fits on easy enough and I am sure will provide protection against small bumps. However the case is still pretty slippery, so you will not get any added grip if thats what you are after.The main issue for me is the amount of fingerprints this thing gets! Makes it look horrible to look at and for me they are not removing too well

As a hard case goes this will certainly do the job of keeping scratches and small dents off your shiny new macbook, however, it doesn't solve the main issue I have, which is to make the damn thing less slippery! I have a beautiful new MBP 16" and it is both heavy and devilishly slippery. I already dropped it once (fortunately only from a short height) and I was hoping this would make the whole thing a bit more grippy, but no, alas it has a very similar texture to the aluminium housing and so is of limited use.

Looked good when it arrived put it on and it was tight but fit. Then it shows all smudge marks on top of lid which needs cleaning regularly. Then a few months later a fracture appeared bottom right of screen then a month later a chunk fell off there Now if I look closely bottom left it is fracturing thereSo actually a waste of money in my opinion Should have been ok for at least a year or so

The case is great at protecting against scratches and even drops from small heights. My Macbook is mainly left on my desk so there isn't much risk of it getting many scratches or marks, so this case works great for that. Another point to make is that whilst the fit of the case is correct, it takes a bit of manoeuvring to get it to fix on right to the base and screen lid. Even when the correct parts have been clicked onto the laptop, you are still able to move some parts of the case.In my opinion, if you are using this for home use (where your Macbook is kept stationary on a desk/your lap) then this is perfect. However, if you are bringing your Macbook with you everywhere on the go then I would spend a bit extra on getting a more durable case that fits completely on.
