This was purchased as a Hostess gift for a friend's mother that was kind enough to let my daughter stay in her house while my daughter attended a wedding. She absolutely loved it!! She loved the scent and said it was very thoughtful. I would definitely buy this again. I know people like to give candles, but this one is a little more "personal." Highly recommend.

I was born and raised right in the middle of South Carolina, so when I bought one of these during our terrible “shutdown year” of 2020 I just loved the scent. It really did remind me of some of the scents of home and it smelled a bit flowery without seeming too feminine for me (I usually prefer masculine scents).In other words they did a good job with all of the Notes (different kinds of smells in it).I also sent one of these as a gift to a girl friend in Seattle and she was really pleased with it.So there are really only two issues with this candle: it’s not large, and so it only has space for a single wick.But it did “throw” the scent pretty well and burned evenly all the way down to the bottom.The other issue is the price — at nearly $40 they aren’t cheap! But I don’t regret having purchased it and as a matter of fact I think I’m going to buy another one someday, and I’d also like to try to make my own version of it just for fun.Since I got this one from Homesick I’ve also bought a bunch of different kinds of candles from Goose Creek and Tuscany for about $10 to $15 apiece. Most of Goose Creek candles are very good and the shipping speed from Kentucky to LA was OK but slow compared to Amazon Prime. Most all of the Tuscany brand are mediocre in my opinion, but some are pretty good. None of them smelled like South Carolina though :-)

I gave this as a housewarming gift. This candle smells amazing and they loved it!

I liked the entire theme of the homesick candle and is a great thoughtful present for whoever it may be. However I purchased the Iowa candle and it was great except the smell or scent of the candle was not something reminiscent of Iowa and the smell possibly soybeans was not one I’d want in my house.P.S the Georgia candle was great though so I it comes down to the individual candle just wasn’t a fan

The media could not be loaded.  I love it! I find myself picking it up to smell it to get a sense of home more often than actually burning it but it definitely reminds me of Oklahoma. It brings me right back home when I smell it and I love that. And it goes perfectly with my decor!

Smelling it truly takes me back to home. I was a little wherry on how a candle can remind u of a state. To my surprise it did smell like Texas! Bought as a gift for my mother and father. They get homesick a lot being so far away but this candle brought them some comfort. ♥️

LOVE EVERY SCENT SO FAR! Missouri, Georgia, South Carolina, Hawaii, New York... I've been actively seeking scented, but not overpowering, long lasting soy candles with a cotton wick for years! FOUND THEM!!These FILL the space with a fresh, pleasant aroma without being overwhelming. HIGHLY recommend. I can't wait try more!

Very pricey, but so worth it! Smells just like Hawaii and burns for hours and hours!

I bought as a gift for a family member who used to go to school in Michigan. His daughter now lives there and they miss her. So the gift was for his memories of Michigan and to remind them of their daughter. I asked them if it smelled of michigan and they said YESSS.

I ordered the Homesick Hawaii but I believe I received either a factory second or not the genuine article. The wax was very yellow, not white, and it was mottled, blotchy, and full of small fibres. The sides showed what looked like large oily patches, as if it wasn't blended properly. Amazon customer service was great, as usual, and I returned the item. Scent was mild but pleasant.
