A professional and functional alternative to backpacks and satchel's.
With the public service announcements warning about backpacks in the NYC Subway, I was looking for alternatives. When I used to take my backpack, I would carry it with my hand so that it doesn't take up space for other passengers. Eventually, a briefcase, and specifically an Attaché, came to mind and I ended up purchasing this one. It looks very professional, luxurious, and it's sturdy too! I have plenty of space for everything I need and the attaché helps with keeping things organized. The combination lock is very interesting and helps with making sure values inside are secure. The instructions are generic but helpful. There are 2 things I noticed about the lock that weren't mentioned. This was likely common sense when briefcases and their locks were everywhere.- After locking, you can scroll down digits to 0 but not scroll up.- When you remember the correct combination, just scroll down each digit to 0 to lock it.I highly recommend this for the price as similar attachés were much more expensive.

Carry this attache proudly anywhere
My wife thinks this attache does not have a high-class, elegant look, but that's compared with my old thousand dollar plus 'Lederer' briefcase. The Mcklein looks perfectly decent, appears to be constructed well and has surprisingly nice interior. At the price, I hope to use it for a half dozen years or so and replace it happily. Anything more and it'll be a really great deal!JRT

Great find
This briefcase was purchased to replace my Samsonite briefcase. Thought this was expandable due to stitch pattern. Oh well. The hinges are tight. Leather is real. Quality is better. Price was half of what I paid for last briefcase.

Great value for Attache' case
I specifically wanted a leather attache case. I needed to ditch the backpack that I was using and I didn't like the soft leather man bags that seems to be the popular choice at our office. I got this for ~$115 and I think it's a great value. Mine doesn't really get much abuse as I work in an office and just use it for the back and forth. It stores my 15 inch laptop with no issues. Headphones, Bible, charging cords, etc. store easily in the main area. With what I consider light use, I notice some marks on the brass colored locks--but minor. I bought this with intentions of getting something higher end should I keep using these style cases, but I like it enough that I'm going to keep using it.

McLlein Daley attache case
Received the McKlein Daley 80434 leather attache case in perfect condition. This is a handsome chestnut colored, supple and good to the feel, leather case with twin brass colored combination snap locks. The overall quality is quite good, but if you are looking to beat it up with a lot of travel, you might go for tougher leather. This is like kid skin and doesn't like knife edges coming at it. otherwise, I am impressed for a hundred bucks.

Easy to break lock
I like the case but as soon as I set a lock combination the lock broke.
