Great rod, really fun for bass fishing.
The metal bracket on the reel (the handle you use to reel in) was twisted. Wasn’t able to do a full rotation without scraping the cover of the line. Had to take it off and put it in a vice to twist it back straight, once that was done it worked great.

Reel is garbage.
Didn't last one day and unfortunately I bought it for the Brandon on vacation which was past the return date. What a waste.

Love this pole but the place I bought if from not so much
The fishing pole is great once I got it. Just the right size, style and weight. Love the handle as it doesn't stick way out there like some newer fishing poles do. First pole I ordered was lost in the mail. Contacted seller and they didn't nothing. Had to get refund from Amazon. Then was stupid enough to order second pole and finally got it about a month later.

Great rod, Horrible reel
The rod is great and solid to use. The reel is so cheap that it broke after a couple uses, just outside the return window. Have money set aside for a replacement reel.

Steal of a deal
Great price for a gx2 rod. I purchased the 5’6 medium combo. Arrived in good working order! I’m a big fan of uglystik rods. Some people are saying the reel is cheap which it is, but the rod alone is worth it. For what you get it’s easy to purchase a nicer reel.

A beautiful rod.
A great rod! If you trout fish this rod is a must. Love the fact that it breaks down into two pieces. The action is great and the reel is flawless. A great investment.
