Peak Design unisex-adult Everyday Backpack Backpack (pack of 1)

This is the 9th Peak Design product I've purchased. Each of the products have been so well engineered, so functional, I simply could find no fault. I have the Messenger Bag; however, I shoot with two cameras using the BlackRapid Dual Harness System, so the equipment goes from the bag to the harness. Using two Olympus OM-D cameras with 6 lenses, I simply ran out of room in the Messenger Bag. Peak Design makes such great stuff for photographers, I was excited to learn they were making backpack style camera bags now! PD did not disappoint! I opted for the 30L as I travel with quite a lot of equipment. A day after the bag arrived at my door I loaded it with my gear, and boarded a plane for Tucson, AZ... This bag is nothing short of awesome. I packed my 15 Laptop, all cords, two cameras, 4 lenses, and all related gear and carried it as carry on throughout all flights to and from... Flawlessly. In fact, I received many compliments on the bag... from total strangers. Mind you, this is a very unique customizable interior system that takes a bit to grow accustomed to, but it is excellent nonetheless. The closure system is so secure, but so exquisitely well designed that you will be able to secure and open with one hand in a no look in a hurry manner. I carried this bag, FULLY loaded and it was totally comfortable! Airport to airport, no problem! Also, even fully loaded, this bag fits well in the overhead bin perfectly. Yes, this Peak Design BackPack 30L is costly... Worth it to me. I would gladly buy this again... anytime.

auch bei einem Fotorucksack um 300 Euro kann es einen Mangel geben, aber dann erwarte ich wenigstens eine praktikable Lösung zum Austausch eines nachweislich (mit Foto dokumentierten) defekten Zubehörteils, ohne dass ich den defekten Teil (falsch vernähter Flexfold Divider) zuerst zurückschicken muss und dann auf die Lieferung eines Ersatzes warten muss. Der Rucksack ist mit nur zwei Einlagen nicht nutzbar, jedoch brauche ich den Rucksack dringend. Ist dem Pixxass Service aber egal... Der Rucksack ist ziemlich genial - so wie viele andere Produkte von Peak Design auch. Die Verarbeitung ist bis auf den erwähnten Divider sehr gut und entspricht den Erwartungen. Ich besitze auch den Kamera Clip und eine 15" Messenger Tasche - beides top! Der 30L Rucksack nimmt das für mich benötigte Equpment (z.B. Fuji X-T2 mit 40-140mm Tele) plus weitere Objektive und Zubehör etc. locker auf und wichtig: auch die DJI OSMO passt sogar quer hinein - das geht bei der 20L-Version nicht. 5 Sterne gibt es, wenn der Lieferant eine schnelle Ersatzlieferung für den Divider hinbekommt! Update: nicht der deutsche Händler, sondern Peak Design selbst schickt Ersatz, nachdem ich direkt beim amerikanischen Support reklamiert hatte. Somit gibt es die verdienten 5 Sterne

Le prix est dérisoire par rapport à la qualité ~ ENFIN, après "n" achats toujours décevants après utilisation, j'ai trouvé LE sac à dos HYPER COMPLET. GENIAL de conception. HYPER modulable (en vertical et en horizontal), solide, étanche, bien adapté au dos avec des dizaines de "petits trucs, de lanières" qui permettent de s'adapter et attacher n'importe quel type d'objet. Ouvertures latérales également pour faciliter l'accès à par ex. un appareil photo.

I am not a professional photographer by any means. Just a casual person traveling and wanting to take some photos here and there. This is the first bag I have found that fits my needs perfectly. It fits my gear easily (Nikon DSLR with 2 lenses, GoPro hero 6, chargers, batteries, iPad, Surface Book 13.5 -though the padding could be better) and allows for quick side access. Its water-resistance has never failed me and its comfort is exceptional. A 5/5 for being a photography bag. Now, I would love to see a version of this bag aimed towards business professionals. As a medical student, carrying this bag to the hospital is not ideal, because I have no place to store books/lots of papers. It is good that it fits my white coat inside the velcro compartments, but I would have loved to see a more business-oriented version. See, this bag is so well made that I want to use it all the time and never use a bag that is not this good again.

I bought this to use as a 'carry on' with airlines. It holds two camera bodies, a large zoom lens, binoculars, shoulder pod, small telescope and two changes of lightweight trousers, socks, underpants, T shirts and shirts. Have not yet tried it with airlines but have hiked with it, no problem (about 10kg total). Easy access to camera gear. I gave 5 star for durability because the material looks and feels durable. I can wear this on my back and still have a Cotton carrier holding the equipment for action AND have both hands free. Gear seems well protected.
