good quality, very good price and a lot of fun for the entire family

We played the heck out of this set from May to September. We had never played bocce ball before this year and this set. We had always been diehard croquet fans. This year the croquet set never came out. It was bocce all the time. The game requires almost no set up, minimal rules explanation, and can be easily adapted to a variety of environments and family dynamics (we would adjust the score needed to win based on how long we wanted to play).The balls in our set were wonderfully weighty---heavy enough to feel satisfying when rolled, but not so heavy as to be physically taxing. The travel well in all conditions, fresh mowed lawns, hard dry lawns, and even wet overgrown squishy lawns. The balls have held up tremendously well.Our only complaint is the carry bag, which is serviceable, but a bit unstructured for my taste. It works, but could be better and with more comfortable hand straps.Still overall we are extremely happy with our purchase and our discovery of such a fun, adaptable game.

Sturdy... fun... durable! We gave it as a gift and then we all played! Everyone had fun! It was a great gift!

This is our favorite backyard game. It’s great for all ages (my 6 yr old and his friends). The balls are solid and of great quality (thrown in the rocks a few times). The carrying case is handy as well for storage.

I purchased this set while visiting my son’s family it his summer. I have had my own set for years. This set is nice in that the balls are all a good quality and weight. Where this set fails is that it has a very flimsy bag to hold the heavy set of balls in. My own set has a sturdy one, with a center platform that allows you to put four balls in a sturdy bottom, add the sturdy platform in the middle and put in the last four balls, the measuring string and the smaller white ball in the center, holding it all in and making it sturdy and easy to zip shut and carry. For this one it is just a flimsy bag with no structure so i took the cardboard box it came in, cut two pieces, one to fit in the very bottom and one to place the next 4 balls on. It is better but not perfect and therefore not as easy to zip shut without the balls slidding around. Needs improvement on the bag, otherwise a really nice set and a lot of fun to play.
