I really like this box. I plan on using it to display some mementoes from my mother's childhood. It will protect them and keep them from getting too dusty as well as make a great little display for them. Unlike a few other reviewers, I didn't have any issue with the glass. I didn't have to attach it in any way and it wasn't loose. It also arrived in tact, unbroken, and without scratches.Now I do really like it and plan on keeping it but there were a few minor issues with it. They were mostly problems with the fabric so I don't think this would be an issue with the leatherette box. The only thing I noticed after the fact that is similar with the three styles that I wasn't excited about was the foam. How I didn't notice it, I can't explain as you can see it in the product images as well as a customer image. When you open the box, there is this white foam-like material around the outer-inside edge. I assume it's necessary to the integrity of the box so I'm not even considering toying with it. I saw in a customer image from the leatherette one that the foam is black so it blends better. My linen one, however, is a light beige so the white foam is very visible upon opening it. Since there isn't any kind of hinge, ribbon, or chain that holds the lid up when you open it, the foam is pretty darn visible. It's not a deal-breaker for me but make sure you check out the product listing images. I have included some of my own as well.The other issues I had that I believe could only affect the linen or burlap boxes were with the fabric. At one of the corners there is linen overlap around the metal in the left-front. It's actually, again, visible in the product listing so I anticipate you should expect it will be there if you order it. It's not a big thing and it's definitely something that is shown in the listing so my bad for not looking more closely. I also had a small tear in another corner where you can see the box under the fabric. It's not big and I included a picture but it's a possibility that this may be an issue for the fabric boxes. There was also an area on the back corner where the fabric pulled away from the box and frayed slightly. It's in the back so it's not a big deal and I don't want to remove it and make it worse so it stays.Despite my minor issues, I really like this box. It's cute and perfect for my display needs. I've been looking for a glass-topped display box for a while and for the price, this one is great. I've seen others that are at minimum double the price of this one at this size or you end up with something inexpensive and looks that way. My issues will most definitely not keep me from using it but I wanted to put it out there that it isn't perfect however, in my opinion, I don't think the linen or burlap boxes should look perfect. I would definitely recommend it despite any flaws.

I have a rare book and this display box with glass top looks amazing and let's me enjoy my investment as well as see it and show friends and family.

Time to streamline: my bedroom is SO MUCH NEATER NOW and I'm getting rid of the little chests of plastic drawers that were such a jumble. I've been carefully choosing jewelry chests, display boxes and racks to make ALL my jewelry visible and well-organized. and I smile just when I walk in the room. I've gotten rid of all the jewelry I don't like: no matter what it cost or how much I love the person I got it from, if I don't wear it, I don't want it lying around.I just opened this up this reviewed box and it's perfect! Well...it would a plus if it had the ribbon at the side which prevented the top folding all the way back but perhaps some people don't want that. (I'll just have to be careful not to fling this back and break the glass.) This ribbon is on another case I purchased which matches this reviewed one with the exception that that case has two latches instead of one, as here: Amzdeal Jewelry Ring Display Storage Case Holds 36 Compartment -Glass Top Display Case-Black  ... (Sadly, this is no longer available but keep your eyes out for it.)To complement this reviewed box, I got this velveteen insert which fits it perfectly: NEW Black Velvet Pad Tray Insert Jewelry Display !!! I find this case extremely helpful for my earrings. Sadly, it's no longer available in black but only blue and pink. There is a lot of variety so be careful as you look around because there are so many different inserts and compartments to choose from.

These boxes seem like a wonderful idea, but the outside surface pebbled to be like leather has peeled off of the top left-hand corner of the two boxes I have purchased, the second one in hopes that it would not have the same issue. It makes it impossible to use for gifts as it is very apparent. Since the item comes in a box and if you buy multiple, they are separated by a piece of foam, it is an issue at the point of manufacture.A very nice idea that is not made well. It has forced me to purchase some chrome jewelry box corners and affix the with screws after a long time searching for ones that are small enough.I did not intend to put several hours of searching and labor into giving my friend a gift inside one of these boxes. The manufacturer needs to step up. Buyer beware.

This is a nice little box for the money. It’s sturdy and seems well made. The only thing I would like better is if the black trim around the glass in the front were just a bit narrower.
