The Winner!
I have purchased an embarrassing amount of step stools for my kids in an attempt to find the perfect one. Let me tell you, this one is it. Don't hesistate, just buy it. Not only is it the best deal price wise, it is excellent quality, the perfect height, totally stable and really nice looking. I paid $7.59 for this and it was a steal. I have literally purchased a total of ~ 7 step stools, 5 different varieties)1. Really nice and expensive wooden step stool (nice, but too heavy to be moved easily by a kid).2. Plastic Bumbo step stool (okay, but poor quality - the rubber grip at the bottom started falling off the stool after light use and the standing area was too narrow).3. This Fisher Price Thomas the Train Trackmaster step stool (perfect in every way - price, quality, height, size, stability, and overall design. I foolishly sold it when my son asked for a Cars step stool).4. Two Disney Cars and Minnie Mouse Step & Glow step stools (again okay, but too short and bulky. I regretted getting rid of the Thomas one).5. Two Ginsey Disney Mickey & Minnie Mouse Step Stools (good quality, style, size and price but simply too short for both my almost 3 year old and my small 5 year old).I sold/got rid of all of the previous ones and re-purchased the Fisher Price Thomas the Train Trackmaster step stool and I'm once again thrilled with it. It's staying for good this time, and I will not buy another step stool besides this one if I ever need another. My son loves the train track design that is on the rubber grips at the top of the stool, and immediately started playing with his trains on there. My ultra girly-girl daughter also liked it and uses it without complaining that it's not Minnie Mouse.I've tried a good cross-section of what's available on the market, and this one was by far my favorite AND it was the cheapest of all the ones I've ever purchased. I cannot recommend it enough.

Great Step-stool, great price, fast shipping.
I bought these for my daughter (Yes, she loves trains...booyah!) There was no way I was going to buy her a "Hello Kitty" or "Frozen" step-stool. My wife can work on that, but I want a buddy that I can play Legos with, not dolls. Well...I'll still play dolls with her if she wants, but I'd rather play Legos. Brings back memories....Anyways...I'm rating this on behalf of my daughter, who's 2-years old. After getting this via Prime 2-day shipping, she's been obsessed with this. Almost a little too much. She feels invincible now. She can reach things, such as light switches, fans, sinks, etc. I know, I know...that was the plan. But now she gets into everything, which was the point. If I rated this on how I personally feel...I would tell you never to buy it, these little scheisters will get into everything now. Expect your wife's lipstick and necklaces to be hidden all over the house. You'll know where it is because you'll find little pieces of artwork on the wall adjacent to where they placed it last.Either way, this is a great step-stool and holds my weight easily (160lbs). If you have a toddler who just isn't tall enough, but want to give them some independence, this is the stool for you!Hope this helps!

Sturdy and the right height
I love this thing. My toddler always insists on standing on his toys in his playpen and since I ususally only have him in there to do school work that's both dangerous and intrusive so my mom suggested getting a step stool so he would have something shorter and sturdier he could stand on. I was skeptical; would he stand on it? Would it be as dangerous? Would he still stand on other stuff? And of course the answer is yes he still needs to be directed away from standing on toys but not nearly as much! I'm pleasantly surprised. He loves to stand on this thing! It's sturdy so he won't fall and short enough that I don't worry about him falling over the edge. He can climb down without help. This is a great solution for us and it's sturdy enough that it'll last past this phase and can move to a sink for teething brushing etc. Of course there's no fail proof method to keeping a toddler from doing what they're not supposed to but giving him something safe to stand on has significantly helped us. He also enjoys flipping it over and putting toys in and taking them back out. Best part? No assembly or tools required.

Happy kid but we had to buy a new stool....
Two separate ratings for this step stool: - As a stool it gets 3 stars. It is a nice height and supports a young child. Unfortunately, it repeatedly disappears from the bathroom and therefore is rendered useless as a stool. - As a toy however it gets 5 stars. It is a train tunnel - the wooden trains fit perfectly under the curves on the side and they can come out the other side. It is a train house - all the wooden trains sleep underneath the stool where it is nice and dark. It has cool rubber tracks on top so the trains can play up on top. And it is a train carrier - lightweight and easily turned upside down - to carry wooden trains from room to room. My 2 year old son absolutely loves this train track accessory! The stool is awesome as a toy - excellent value given the cost of wood train track accessories. We bought a second unadorned step stool for the bathroom.

Great, except when you need to clean the tracks on top
I love this stool, it's the right height for getting to the potty and it can be used at the sink too. The only issue is the cool tracks at the top. They work both as an awesome non-slip surface, and also as a way for unpleasant things to stick around. Apparently there was an accident, my husband cleaned the stool, but later when I was hanging out with my kiddo in the bathroom I noticed that there was something in the tracks. If you went EW! yeah, that was my reaction too. I took some serious Clorox and scrubbing to that thing. Probably should have dunked it somewhere. That's my one complaint about this stool, otherwise, it's been perfect. The weight is just right for a kiddo to carry, and it's small enough to be moved to the side if a grown-up needs to use the same potty, etc., and of course, my kiddo adores Thomas. Good combo, if it weren't for those darned tracks.
