Omami Square 1.2-Quart Lunch Box, Pink

I love the look and style of the box but find it a smidge to small. I would like to put a small apple, half sandwich and yogurt in this box but it is not quite deep enough to close the lid properly. I have to slice up the apple. The elastic band will help keep the lid on even if the items are too tall but this allows air into the box. There is a clear lid that forms somewhat of a seal if your items are not to big but the white top will only stay in place with the elastic band. There is not room to include an ice pack if you want to keep items cold.

I assumed this product would be microwavable and considerably more substantial in quality based on the original selling price. Instead , the plastic is thin and overall the quality is poor. There is no way this could go in the microwave . It has the feel of a margarine container you would buy in a grocery store for $ 1.99 . I will use it as a thin plastic storage container to hold crayons etc. It is not worth the sale price, never mind the original selling price . I now understand why it is on sale .

I could actually fit more in it than I do sometimes, but that's because I bought this box (in pink) for my 9yr old daughter. Four JUMBO muffin liners will separate the box into four perfect sections when needed (and sometimes, it is) two inside the box allow a sandwich (cut in half and stacked... sometimes a bit staggered if they are thicker sandwiches) and some pretzels or crackers to fit in with the sides.I usually use at least two muffin liners... one for salad or a veggie, one for a fruit.Also, the little round 4oz glad disposable tupperware containers fit in there PERFECTLY for dip (like peanut butter or hummus for veggies and other things instead of a traditional entree)The container fits with room to spare in her lunchbox, though, so when I do need to send an item in a separate container alongside, it's no issue (like ketchup), but typically, everything fits)Remember, this is intended for bento-style lunches, so it's intended that everything fit snug and tight against each other.My daughter really enjoys being able to have one container where she opens it and everything is in front of her. She used to use a panda bento box, but it's just a little too small for her most days now.And if I stuff the box, it holds enough lunch for me, so if the price ever drops to a penny again, I'll definitely be snagging another.Oh... and the 2nd lid is perfect for keeping a cloth (or paper) napkin folded and clean with your lunch... a small pair of chopsticks might also fit for those taking some. I usually tuck her fork in the strap when she needs one

This product is nothing more than a plastic box with an elastic band holding the top to the box. This is fine for an adult, but there is a good chance your kids (or mine) will end up losing the elastsic band. I know is just a lunch box, but it seemed a little over priced for what it is.

Super happy with this purchase; bought a couple more because it's so nice! I'm not using them for lunch, but for little odds and ends in my office. The quality is very nice and I love the purple color!

I really love this lunch box. I bought it because i found it very creative but apart from being extremely nice it is very useful. Highly recommended
