Broke after a week (literally)
I bought this juicer a week ago based on all the great reviews it had and I thought this one would be great but I was wrong. First off when I received the package it already had holes in both the outside package (amazon) and the box itself (juicer). I thought maybe it was the delivery process but it could have fooled me because the way it was packaged it looked like they gave me someone's return but either ways I decided to give it a try. The first use was great until the second use and it was having trouble getting the juice. A week later it is already broken. By the second use I already noticed that the juicer was having a hard time juicing and by the first week it already started smelling weird as I juiced it and now it won't even turn on. I'm highly disappointed on this especially with all the great reviews. I read the manual and did everything as instructed. The only good thing is that it is easy to clean.UPDATE: I received an email from their customer service and they were a pleasure to work with. They were willing to work with me and provided me options for the return and the option to send me a new juicer. Although I was very pleased with the customer service, I decided to opt for a full refund because this juicer broke within a week of use. Based on the other reviews it seems like all their juicers were fine and maybe the one I received was defective. I highly appreciate their customer service.

Easy to use, easy to clean, out-performs other juicers!
This is, by far, the best juicer I've ever owned. I was surprised with the intuitive design which made it extremely easy to assemble. I've had some juicers in the past which were very frustrating just to get together, but this one has a total of 4 pieces (besides the body and the pitcher that's included) and, after a quick wash, took about a minute to put everything together. It's also much, much quieter compared to other juicers. Some juicers make sounds that would have people believe there's a space shuttle taking off in the kitchen area, but not the Nutri-Stahl. It's not silent by any means, it's got a motor powered by electricity after all, but when comparing how quickly and efficiently it produces juice and the overall quality of the juice, this sound level is quite nice. Think about how a finely tuned sports car sounds versus an old work truck; they both make noise but one is easier on the ears and a more enjoyable ride. One very nice touch is the suction cups on the bottom of the base. Centrifugal juicers, like this Nutri-Stahl, vibrate quite a bit and can end up sliding around a counter top. The suction cups on this model, however, keep the unit in place which makes for a much cleaner juicing process (less spills) and a much easier cleanup afterward.I did notice that the fibers from the fruits and veggies we've used haven't been completely dry, and I've read other reviews which state the same thing, but I'm not sure you'll ever get fibers that are COMPLETELY dry. This machine definitely extracts a ton of juice from everything you put in there. The one thing I don't like about this machine is how it can be difficult to clean the blade/basket. The micro holes get clogged with fiber as it spins which mean a cleaning tool like a sponge or steel scrubber must be used. This makes me a little nervous because sponges aren't very sanitary and I'm nervous that a steel scrubber might wear down the micro holes and damage the basket. I think, though, that if someone had a higher pressure rinse hose on their sink that it might make cleaning the unit a little easier, but unfortunately we don't have one at home (which is why I didn't deduct any stars). Cleaning the rest of the juicer is a snap though. It's just as easy to disassemble as it is to assemble. The plastic parts can go into a dishwasher (I would definitely recommend rinsing all the parts immediately after use though). I also recommend putting a plastic grocery bag into the waste receptacle to make disposing of them much, much easier (you can also dump the fibers into a compost bin).Juice: there hasn't been anything I've put into this machine that it couldn't handle: beets, pineapple, apples, cucumbers, tomatoes, spinach, kale, ginger root, melon, watermelon rinds, ANYTHING! If you can extract juice from it, this machine can handle it. I did notice that I had to use the higher turbo speed for more dense products like beets and watermelon rinds, which makes it SLIGHTLY noisier than normal mode, but it cuts right through the veggies without jamming or any other problems. I also noticed less larger pieces of food left in the basket after I was done juicing; this isn't the case for some of the other juicers I've owned which left chunks of beets or carrots and other veggies behind (which means less juice and wasted food in the end). The Nutri-Stahl is designed in a way that almost all of the fruit and veggies get used. The price is a little higher than that of a juicer you'd find a WalMart or Target, but this machine out-performs a typical home juicer on every level. There are machines out there that are much cheaper, and I've owned a couple, but they can't compare to this juicer. For the price (less than $100), you can't beat the quality of the machine or the quality of the juice it provides. All in all, if you're looking for a juicer with an opening large enough to fit most fruits and veggies without having a do a lot of prep work before the job, that's easy to clean, doesn't rattle windows with noise and provides high quality juice all at a great price, then you can't go wrong with the Nutri-Stahl juicer; we've used ours every day since we've gotten it.

Good juicer
This is by far the best juicer I've had in a while. it is easy to clean. It is easy to use. The safety features prevent any mishaps. To make cleaning a little easier line the container with the bag and I wash three items let them dry and I'm done . The juicer will not start unless the safety latch is secure. It is fast and efficient . I was able to make a ful glass from four medium size carrots. I love this juicer.

Great mid-priced juicer
I have been wanting a juicer to make fresh beet juice and combination juices like we have at the resorts in Mexico. I have a Vitamix and love it but puréed beets aren't as good a beet juice. I saw a video on this juicer which was helpful. I wanted a simple mid priced machine and this one seemed just right. I received it yesterday. It is easy to use and figure out. It is not too loud and the assembly and disassembly was a snap. The feed tube is large enough to accommodate large beets halves and this machine quickly juiced 3 large organic beets and produced a good amount of juice for 2 eight ounce servings. The pulp drops into a separate container on the side so it's easy to shake onto my compost bucket. This is a good design because there was no beet juice spatter on the wall or counter during the feeding and processing. The catch receptacle is well designed to accept the juice and direct it without spilling or spattering. Clean up of the plastic parts was simply rinsing in cold water and then air drying clean up of the blade and screen was fairly simple with a veggie brush and cold water. It took a little work to get all the pulp out of the tiny holes but no more than about a minute. The effort is worth it - as I value the results of having fresh organic juice to support my vitality.

Disposal bin and top plastic cover are awkward to position ...
Disposal bin and top plastic cover are awkward to position properly together to get the secure clamp on. Overall it seems ok for the light use I give it.
