(aka., a traditional, long lasting cutting surface) Cutting Board thickness is approximately 3/4 of an inch (this will vary slightly as our goal is to minimize waste wherever possible) Each board is made from gorgeous, hand selected natural hardwood, not mass produced in a factory. This means that color and grain patterns will vary on each board, making each piece one-of-a-kind. All of this is done for you and out the door in 7-10 business days.:: OUR PROCESS Did you hear that tree fall? Didn't think so...but we did. We take hands on to a whole new level. We are dedicated to craftsmanship. It starts with hand selected hardwoods. We look for the perfect combination of structural soundness and aesthetic beauty. That lumber is then carefully milled to ensure minimum amounts of waste. Once milled, the lumber is cut to size, again minimizing waste wherever possible. Every board is sanded to baby bottom smoothness and every corner routed to make sure you're cutting the meats, produce, cheese or bread of your choice; not your fingers on the edges. Using the information you give us, your cutting board is then placed in the bed of our high powered laser cutter and engraved with your personalized design and sent to you or the recipient for immediate use for years to come.
