Dell Inspiron 5000 Series Laptop - i5559-3349SLV (15.6” HD, Intel Core i5-6200U 2.30GHz, 8GB RAM, 128GB SSD, DVD-RW, Windows 10 Home 64)

Great laptop for the price, very high quality components, i7 Processor, SSD hard drive, back lit keyboard, lightweight, etc. I can go on for days about how much I love this computer. From the time I click the power button to when I log on takes under 10 seconds, its EXTREMELY fast and does everything I intended to do with it, with ease.The only problem I ran into with this computer was the WiFi issue, when I first started it up and was setting up the computer, everyone went well except where it could not identify ANY WiFi networks in the area, that I was sure there was. I was doing some reading up on this issue and apparently its a well known and common issue regarding this PC. This is what I had to do to solve this issue, ON ANOTHER COMPUTER - I googled "Dell Drivers Update", Once I got onto the Dell Drivers website, I put in the model numbers for this PC (Located on the bottom), I than went under the "Networking" tab, which shows all the networking drivers for this computer, I'm not sure of the specific name, but it was something along the lines of "WiFi Update xxxx". I than downloaded that driver on my seperate computer, loaded it onto a flash drive, than took the flash drive and plugged it into this laptop, and installed it that way. Once the new driver was installed, I than had every WiFi available to my liking and have not had a problem with it since.

Have only had this laptop for the past day, howewver I really enjoy it so far! Runs everything I need perfectly and seems to be built well. Since I will be taking this laptop everywhere I go it's very important to me that the laptop is well constructed and the frame seems very sturdy and screen does as well.

Great value for the money. So far we're getting 5-6 hours of battery life. Gotta love the solid state drive and enough ram to get normal tasks done. Nothing that will blow you away but this computer will give you more than what you paid for

I LOVE this computer. Fast and easy to use. Starts up in seconds and has a big screen and efficiently laid out keyboard. As a writer/author I have purchased a number of laptops (per book I write) and this is the best so far. Highly Recommended.

I've had my laptop for 2 months, and thus far I absolutely love it. The SSD is quiet and I don't have to worry about it breaking anytime soon. It's easy to setup and use, and the screen quality is excellent. I also love the backlight on the keyboard. It's a minor detail but makes a major difference when using the computer at night.

Good basic build, SIMPLE to upgrade. This particular model is a nice build, with removable battery, and easy access to hard drive and memory for upgrading to higher GB SSD, and more memory.. Backlight keyboard is nice feature, I would not get a computer without backlight keyboard. It is a thin, lightweight computer case, and if this same exact model came in a 17 inch, I would buy it in a second. I upgraded the SSD in this one to 500GB and upgraded the memory to 16GB, and it runs lightening fast. Good price. I looked a newer models, and noted that cracking the case to upgrade is a pain. Wish Dell would keep that in mind, but I guess that's too much to hope for. This model came with Windows 10 Home and I upgraded to Windows Pro, as it allows you to turn off some annoying settings forced on you by Windows 10. They have a long way to go on that operating system, believe me. But I recommend the computer, itself.

Very surprised to get a laptop with this configuration for such a cheap price - 450$. Works well, and looks quite nice for a cheap laptop. Enjoying the 15" laptop.
