Pro Gaff Matt White 48mm x 25m Gaffa Tape

I'm a photographer and use this in my studio for so many different things. It is a 'real' gaffer tape - i.e. the adhesive holds firm, doesn't leave a sticky mess and is easily peeled off when you've finished.Expensive - yes, but you get what you pay for. Pro Gaff is one of the best and worth every penny to the 'professional'.I just wish ALL manufacturers were honest and didn't label their crappy Duct Tape as Gaffer Tape - there is a huge difference. Duct Tape is great for bodge-up repairs providing you don't ever want to remove it. Gaffer tape is used by photographers and stage/sound engineers because it's easily removable. Google the differences for yourself.

Super strong tape (which this is not) which sticks for ever and you need brake cleaner to remove the glue has its place - but what if you want something which is designed to be semi-permanent? What if you want some soft protection around a wiring loom which has been fixed with self amalgamating tape? What if you want to reinforce a box? What if you want to stick up a wire for Christmas lights and then take them down in Jan? Once you get used to the nature of gaff tape you find so many uses for it. I quite literally have a cupboard stuff full of different rolls of this and its thinner cousin spike tape.

I worked for years in event production and after using a few rolls of this brand I can confirm that this meets all my requirements. Absolutely love this tape. It has unlimited uses and can even be torn lengthways without issues when thinner strips are required.
