Hinge is made of a super flimsy coil.
For the price the whole unit was good, with the major exception of the hinge made from a very flimsy coil, which clearly won’t last. Since this piece is pivotal to the product, I cannot recommend it.

It is not stainless steel. It is ordinary steel that rasts immediately after the first cooking. Be aware of it!
