Awesome keyboard been using it for a year haven't experienced any faults so far.Keys are hard and sturdy so not for those who want a soft one. The shortcut keys at the top is very convenient, and you can program the keys using the software included as you see fit. Unlimited customization. The only negative I can say is that as a gaming keyboard the LED lighting is rather lacking. It only have weak illumination on the letters at max setting, and no lighting in the gaps. No where near fancy. There are only 3 colours to choose from: red, blue, pink.

Sounds like a courier but great value, even works with XP!
I had been searching for what seemed like an eternity for replacement keyboard to my last one, that had key letters worn off, the criteria was easy, I needed a backlit, one I could see, my PC area is dark, I work with graphics, and artwork, I run 3 machines, a main tower that I built a few years back, a laptop and this old basher that I am typing on now, the temp machine I am typing on now runs a stripped down Win XP Pro, and this keyboard works fine. The net is a bottomless pit of keyboards with lights, but many, way more expensive ones - have - issues, and apart from a decent back light I needed UK layout and something that is going to last, without costing a fortune. So after much searching, reading reviews and a massive headache, I went for the Speedlink (sounds like a courier firm) and so far I am happy, the device is well made, for the price, and the lights and options are very cool. Its got high keys as it not low profile as I am used to, but soon got used to that, as the keys are very responsive and you can adjust the response, its not small, but overtly massive like my mates Saitek, but you still need desk space, all the lighting can be faffed with to suit, dim, bright, colours etc, I do not 'game' so the gamer lot will no doubt need to read reviews based on its gaming functions, but for me - its great value, the keys are reasonable in the noise level when typing, the accuracy is a main point here, and a light touch is all thats needed.I need to get my bum in gear to rebuild the lain rig as that is what its going to used on primarily - but for now this is running perfect on vintage XP, no software install needed, a plus side is that it powers down the lights if no activity after about 15 mins, I like that.Lights are bright but not distractingly so, three settings off, dim, bright, and the colour options, I can see the keys fine, which is what I wanted. The border of the keyboard which incorporates the wrist rest, is a kind of a suede feel effect, nice touch.Amazon service was good, fast post, packaging was secure and overall I will give it full marks, in constant use since I bought it.So far so good.

Pretty good overall, comes with a few flaws.
The keyboard overall is pretty nice. Gets the job done and looks pretty fancy as well, the customization with the colours is a nice little touch. A problem I have noticed with it (as well as a few other reviewers) is that the macro buttons are placed a bit weirdly, making typing feel a little less natural as I would hope. I've been using this keyboard for roughly 2 months now and I still occasionally hit the macro buttons instead of esc/tab/ctrl etc. This is pretty annoying which is why I have knocked down the stars. Another reason I have knocked down the stars is because after about 1/2 weeks, the space bar started making a squeaking noise every few times I hit it, and this, as you can imagine, gets very annoying at times. Overall though this product is pretty good for the price. However if you are looking at a keyboard to use all the time, I can't say i'd recommend this one simply due to the macro keys being oddly placed.

Disappointing...
See that space bar. Go on look. The light strip is lit all the way along in the product example pictures. On my keyboard there was about 2cm lit up by the weak LED underneath. Look at the reviewers pictures of their Parthicas. See how there is similarly only a small amount of the space bar lit up by the LED compared to what the manufacturer shows us on their pictures.Weak LEDs leading to only partial lettering illumination on most keys. That combined with grey lettering on black keys makes it very hard to like this keyboard.
