Antenna is working but the box is open when I received it, looks like a used item in which the previous customer had returned it.

I actually LOST some reception distance, even hardly picking up a powerful station right here in town. Since I run Bluetooth and mostly listen to the songs on my phone, I guess I can let it slide. It was packaged nicely, fast shipping and made the 2008 Xterra look a lot better than having the old long wire flapping around. That's the reason it still gets 4 stars.UPDATE - After exactly 1 month and hooking up SirusXM a week ago, I can actually say that this antenna definitely does not bring in the signal that a normal one would. In my 15 minute commute to/from work each day, at least 1/2 of it is spent listening to silence while the radio "loads". Unfortunately, I am having to go back to my stock antenna and will look for a different brand while being stuck with this. Maybe I can give it to a co-worker for aesthetics only purposes.

My purchase of the KEYO1E Antenna was due to an employee at the local Car wash broke my original antenna when trying to take it off. I received the new antenna in two days as promised by the seller. The antenna is solid from head to toe and therefore there is no reason for the car wash staff to even remove the antenna prior to entering the carwash but if they do there is no way to brake this one. It is also about approximately 2" or 3" inches shorter than the original antenna so you get a low profile look. The radio sound and quality are the same as the original antenna that came with the vehicle.I like this product and if you need a new antenna for your vehicle I suggest you buy this one.

I've tried two other brand models and this short stub Antenna performs the best. Released in July 2019, this amazing Antenna replaces your OEM whip Antenna. If you're like me, your original whip antenna (and/or antenna base) was damaged in an automatic car wash. The logical answer is to replace your OEM whip antenna with a sleek and beautiful short stub. I've tested and tried two competing models from a popular competitor, (Brand X) on Amazon. The major issue is the AM & FM signal reception from strong local radio stations is full of static and weak. It's a compromise, until now. Now you can run through your automatic car wash and have great short stub Antenna reception from both AM & FM. This brand and model by far outperforms Brand X in terms of quality and performance. A bit more money, but worth every penny. Thank you Amazon and KEYO1E.

Update:The seller never responded, however I found the replaceable screw in the discarded foam packaging that the antenna came in. Fortunately I separate boxes from plastics and other trash and while the trash was picked up, the foam was still in a not yet full trash bin. To my surprise the replacement screw was there after searching. I changed my review from 1 because I was actually able to figure this out and get it installed. So the warning I have is to make sure to check the foam packaging for the replacement screw or don't be hasty and try and toss the trash like i was.Original:I asked seller for feedback but after no response decided to give negative feedback. Ordered for 2009 HHR and while the item says it fits, it does not. The threads and screw are not even close to matching. So be very wary when buying this item. Finally, shame on me for putting the box in the trash on trash day and then trying to install it that afternoon. While I do take some responsibility for trashing the box before testing the install, I put the blame on the item/seller for listing it as fitting the HHR but it not even remotely coming close.

Purchased in late 2019 for my 2020 Silverado. Really happy at first - looked nice and no noticeable loss in reception. However, in less than a 10 months, the black finish on the antenna is getting washed out and turning gray (pic). The black trim on the truck still looks new so, it has to be the antenna material.Had no noticeable loss of reception at first but, over time (again, 10 months) have noticed that radio stations that once had clear reception, now have static and are not picked up at the same distance they originally could be picked up.
