Surprised that this didn't really have an impression on me
Can't help but feeling the autism in this story is a little of the Rain Man stereotype, which is a bit hackneyed in this day and age. Some good stuff about parenting, but all in all left me cold as a play.

One of my favourite theatre plays!
Saw this production as part of a college trip and I loved the fact that the main character whose autistic, as I'm autistic myself and I could relate to that. I brought this book because I chose the play for an essay at Uni at it helped a lot when it came to analysing, highlighting and just refreshing my memory of the play itself! Hope I get to see this play again!

Brilliant... but not for young audience.
Brilliant. Lots of depth and dilemma. Terrific adventure into the world as experienced by one autistic person. Great springboard for discussion and an invitation into creative staging.
