Works great with the Panasonic GH5
I got the Gonine DMW-DCC12 power adapter for my Panasonic GH5, thinking that I would be shooting long conference sessions. I haven't done much with the conferences yet, but I have used the Gonine adapter for long-term time-lapse videos and for an animation project. For less than $20, it is the perfect way to keep the GH5 powered for extended times. The GH5 even has a little "trap door" for the power adapter's cable to pass through, so that the battery door can be closed properly. (You can see this in the photos I posted.) In the photos, I show the Panasonic GH5 set up to do an animation project. The camera is mounted overhead, pointing straight down at a table where the animation work is done. With the Gonine DMW-DCC12 power adapter, I can run the camera as long as I like, working for hours at a time without having to bother with swapping batteries. The Gonine DMW-DCC12 adapter is the perfect accessory for an application like this. I've now used the Gonine DMW-DCC12 adapter several times, and it has always worked flawlessly. It is easy to use, inserts exactly like a standard camera battery, and it is a steal at the price. I recommend the Gonine DMW-DCC12 power adapter for the Panasonic GH5.

Gh5s battery eliminator
We record performances for my wife’s school and sometimes they go over and hour and a battery swap was required. Now that we have this, our only factor is how large of SD cards are in the camera. We’ve recorded over 3 hours straight with zero issues on the power supply. Would definitely buy again!

Worked on my GH5
I bought this to connect to my GH5 in the studio so I wouldn't need to charge batteries so often. Pros 1. Works fine. Kept my GH5 powered on with no power fluctuations or random shut offs. 2. Prices seem well made enough. 3. Relatively cheap. Cons 1. I wish the cables were longer. I had to rest the power brick part of this on my tripod, otherwise it just hung there. Not a huge deal. Overall, I would recommend this product. It works fine and really does save you a ton of micromanagement charging batteries if you consistently shoot somewhere with an outlet.

A great alternative to a standard battery when in the studio
Although it's a bit of a bulky item to power your camera, if you're shooting in the studio (especially on a tripod or camera stand) then it's size is not really any big deal. And this aftermarket version doesn't appear to be any larger than the mfr's original. The price is certainly much better. There's nothing complicated about it, just pop the "dummy" in the battery compartment and hook the connectors together, provide A/C power and forget it's there. I was shooting some food video clips with my GH4 and one of my standard batteries wouldn't charge any longer, leaving me with only one, which ran down too quick for my liking when I used the rear viewing screen a lot. This Gonine adapter solved the issue inexpensively. There's no moving parts to wear so hopefully it's internal circuitry will last awhile. If so, then it's a fantastic deal!

Great for the GH models, not so much for the battery grip.
Got this yesterday and works perfectly in GH3, fits nicely and the cable wasn't having any trouble, it feeds through the intended gap with ease and instantly powered the camera without a hiccup.. That being said, if you want to use the item in the battery grip, with a battery in the main model as a backup, this is where it comes up short. The cable ends up getting rubbed where the inner wiring is exposed due to it being fed through the top, instead of the edge, which is a bit of a shame as the cable gap in the grip is located near the bottom half of the battery. It does the job great, so if you wish to use this in your GH3, GH4, etc, you'll be very happy with the price it's at. However, be cautious if you use in the battery grip as the rubbing will reduce the amount of time you'll end up using this. Great buy though.

Big help for producing videos
This is a lifesaver for me. Instead of having to continually charge batteries which has discouraged me from making many a video, I just have this plugged in and I never move the camera. Great for podcasting or videos streaming. Highly recommend this to anyone who is tired of changing batteries.

So far, this well-priced buy seems to be derlivering that it claims!
We have only had a chance to test one of these out thus far on one of our GH5 setups in the studio, however it has been doing quite well and we can easily see expanding on the number of these we have in inventory. It does exactly what it is supposed to and for the price, it makes this a steal. Sure beats swapping the battery out every 30 or so minutes (we tend never to run on battery unless we leave the studio and go mobile for a show or similar situations). We didn't know what to expect at first since we haven't had any experience with the brand, however the price of the supply was too good to pass up a try. So far, we are glad we gave it a shot. Measured voltage output was just over 8.9V, without load. Drops to around 8.1V with a good load, which is about the same as the actual battery's output. Worked without issue. Came nicely packaged. Doesn't get as hot as my old AC/DC adapter, which had one of its capacitors pop after about 4 years of continued use. I'm not sure what's in this adapter, but the old one had two cheap chinese 1000uF 16V low-esr capacitors for output filtering. I considered just replacing them, but figured I might as well just buy a better adapter entirely. Hopefully there are better caps in this one; I'd assume so. Time will tell. I put a few more RFI clips on the cable, to help lower any potential noise that might leak into the mic input; not sure if that's needed though. Just a few other commenters mentioned that being an issue, but the cable already came with one built in. I'll update my review if it ever breaks
