I just received my cane its everything I thought it would be, Its beautiful the handle fits my hand perfectly the quality is out standing . Since I have to have a cane I am proud to be using this one It is also at a great price. Thank You David Bartholomew

This cane is all I could hope for it to be. The hickory wood that was selected is strong, crafted well and balanced. I confess I purchased this from Brazos because their promo video convinced me it would be a smart buy and a good, 'made in America' (Texas, no less!) choice! The video covers the entire process from harvesting their inventory of self grown wood to choosing the best pieces to shaping and finishing the final product. It's very impressive. And being a woodcraftsman myself, I can appreciate the work that goes into crafting each cane with consistent quality and individual characteristics! So my expectations were high when I ordered my cane. For the most part, I was not disappointed. I'm not very tall, so I will eventually have to shorten the shaft (which I expected) after I've used it for a while. There was a blemish on the back side, which I'm certain I can repair. Also, I was expecting a glossier finish that tends to enhance the wood grain and stain color more. The cane has a more satin finish with a slight bit of dimpling overall; the effect of which is to subdue the natural grain, giving it a more 'plastic' look. Overall, though, I'm very pleased with my choice and look forward to a long life of use!

When I use this cane, I feel stylish and youthful. People give me compliments. It moves with me and feels agile and natural because of the wood and comforting grip. It is an extension of me.The color is red with autumn vibes. The wood pattern is gorgeous with a liquid movement appearance that inspires as much as the twist of the wood by design.The cane makes me feel young, with many adventures ahead of me. It makes me feel like traveling and enjoying life. Some products feel too medical and more like a crutch. This product feels like life and draws attention to who I am, and not my pain or need of it.If you like hiking sticks and being an adventurous soul, this is the right one for you. The price is up there for the wood type, but each one is magical and destined to live with you on your journey. I would highly recommend. This cane is for living and the dreams ahead.

Very nice cane. Excellent craftsmanship, sturdy

First of all, the finish is not smooth and workmanship is poor. . Our reason for wanting wood is because we appreciate quality wood finishes.We tried to return it and they claim Amazon won’t allow the return of a health care product. That’s not true at all! Other companies on Amazon allow returns on canes. When I reached out to them, they have ignored my messages completely. The other company on Amazon has beautifully crafted canes for a little more but they are so worth it if you appreciate good craftsmanship and customer service!

This cane is well made stable and sturdy. The cane accepted an after market four pronged cane tip without issue. The new tip will allow the cane to stand upright unsupported. The handle fits in your hand well and is comfortable. The finish on the cane is excellent and the walnut wood is beautiful
