Manly Man Helmet
4 stars because the helmet looks good. Also everything is well built like the cam buckles, rear stabilizing system and visor. A true fit to any large/XL head. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because the padding inside helmet is lightly velcroed and not secured. Also the paddings is equal to the padding of $20 Bell helmets. I believe for the price of $100 the padding should be thicker and more secure. Overall I'm happy and feel my brain is safer now then when in a cheap Bell helmet.

Light, comfy, adjustable
Other than this helmet I only had full-face moto/DH helmets and a skate-style bike helmet from 661 as well. No XC/trail helmet experience.That said, the helmet is light, looks good, has decent coverage. You put it on and forget it's there, even in the tropical heat in the humid forest.Does not come with extra pads, but the clicker provides reasonable adjustment. Head coverage seems comparable to a skate-style helmet...

Covers more of the skull than others with a great fit, what more could you ask for?
Great fitting helmet with more coverage than the typical bike helmets. Particularly nice is the little wheel in the back of the helmet to micro-adjust the fit. It really is a great helmet for the urban jungle or trail.
