These non name brand magnatiles work well and are a good reasonably priced alternative. Most importantly, the pieces snap together effectively and have a good hold... strong enough for building castles, but not so strong that a small child can’t pull them back apart. This particular set has a great variety of shapes, including some less common ones. One star off only because the color selection for the tiles is really a little odd. Some shapes have only two colors, but the pieces aren’t evenly divided between those colors. And then it’s not a consistent spread between the other pieces. And this is compared to other sets of these types of tiles, which have good color variation across each of the shapes or have a consistent one-shape-one-color variation.

We have tried a variety of different magnetic tiles for my kids, and these are some of the best! The magnets are really strong, and the tiles are durable. There are a variety of shapes in this set that are included in many other sets, such as the small rectangular pieces and the trapezoids. They are standard size for magnetic tiles, so this is a good set to get to add on to other sets. Overall, we are very happy with the quality of these!
