Flawless install with proper tool
The media could not be loaded. It is very frustrating at first. I had to use some small needle nose and straighten several of the terminal open tabs so they would fit into my crimpers. Then once you figure out how to hold the pins and wire while making the actual crimp its so simple a caveman could do it. I use the IWISS SN-28B Crimping Tool for AWG28-18 Dupont Pins. It has a ratcheting action that will allow you to get the pin in the jaws and have the tool ratchet 1 click and it holds the pin giving you a free hand to put the wire in. Once lined up the ratchet action is so easy to crimp the wire. Just compress one complete time and it makes a perfect crimp. The crimps are flawless every time. My project was a 12 wire digital dash panel for my 1966 C10. This made installation literally plug and play. I didn't want to be making connections under the dash so installing this plug literally make it a simple plug in, once I ran the sending unit wires to the corresponding terminals of the plug. This has never been so easy, so professional looking, and so weather resistant.

Good connectors
Work well. Pins go in the longer connector and sockets go in the shorter connector, opposite of what the picture showed

Not intuitive
These are nice connectors but are NOT simple to use. There is a bit of trial/error in using them as they are designed. That said, I will be ordering more for future use. And, you must purchase a crimping tool that is specific to these connectors. Otherwise, they will not secure and will likely become compromised.

Low quality connectors
I usually have good results with this brand, but these connectors are below average quality. The plastic is brittle, so the tabs don't hold up well and any need to disassemble one is likely to require a replacement connector.I'd recommend going with something better if you need durability.

Easy Setup - Great Quality
This is my first time using the Deutsch DT style connectors. Compared with other pin-type connectors, crimping the pins and sockets was much more forgiving than other type DIN connectors. I didn't use a crimping tool, which usually results in less than perfect crimps, but I had no problem installing the pins and sockets into the body. Unlike my experience with PowerPole and DIN connectors, which were a pain in the rear if the pin crimps weren't perfect. The rubber components made for a reasonably moisture proof connection.

Excellent for my pourpous
I wish it came with some instructions, however, i did fine a video that helped.Im using them in an engine bay of a vehicle of mine to change old and crusted conections. So far after watching the video and pre assembling with 14g and 16 g wire they are awesome! And there is no doubt in my mind that they will prevent your average to above average water exposure.I will be buying more for more conections on vehicles. If the company reads this message please include a disassembly tool and a set of instructions. Id ve more than happy to pay the added cost to do so.
