A must-read for anyone serious about product marketing !
I’ve worked in product and brand marketing for years, but Obviously Awesome was the first time I felt like someone truly demystified positioning. April Dunford doesn’t just tell you why it matters — she gives you a clear, repeatable process to actually do it. The book is smart, funny, and shockingly easy to digest for such a deep topic. April’s tone is sharp and relatable, and the examples are on point. She makes you feel like you’re getting a private lesson from someone who’s been in the trenches. I wish I had read this years ago. Thank you, April!

Excellent!
This was the most useful book I've read in a long time. It defines a process that I and startups I've worked with have intuitively followed for years but it was never well defined. Well Obviously Awesome does a great job of defining how a company can go about identifying their value and what type of customers they should be targeting. It also provides a great step by step process to follow (and templates online!) which makes it actionable.
