Handy, can be cut to size
Used to mount a cheap Google Auto screen (£50 can retrofit into any older car). Used to secure the screen to the cavity beneath the stereo. Cut foam down to size with a bread knife, cut a hole in centre, then inserted the arm holding the screen. Good foam density such that it had enough give to wedge into place and firmly holds the screen. Perfect for my DIY purposes.

Black bits of sponge break off
The sponge does not work for felting. The black bits break off and get mixed in with the felt. Should have realised why it was so cheap
