Alteril Sleep Aid, 60-Count Box

I was expecting it to be as effective as nytol-one-a-night but it is too mild to have immediate affect.Had to top up with warm milk and windows open to fall sleep quicker.

Have tried many different products over years without success. Luckily on a trip to San Diego a year ago I came across Alteril and gave it a try without any expectations. Could not believe how good it was. I continue to use Alteril . Great sleep, no after effects, hence a rating of 5 stars

I cannot live without this. Its all natural. I never feel drugged. I take it about an hour before I want to sleep and never fails, I start yawning and want to lay down an hour later. I have taken this for years and I tell everyone about it. I wake up refreshed at my 5 am job everyday. Any other sleep aid made me feel dizzy. This just lets you fall asleep and stay asleep. So thankful for this stuff!

I can't say enough good things about Alteril... best thing is that you don't wake up GROGGY! About one hour after taking this product I hit the "wall", meaning I need to find a bed and go to sleep immediately. Sleep through the night, and wake up like I never took anything. I really recommend you never take the product if you don't intend to go to sleep within an hour. No way could I drive on this. LOVE THIS STUFF.

I wish this product worked for me like it did for so many other reviewers. I received the tablet form of this sleep aid and had more trouble than usual sleeping every night I took it. Every body is different and it probably works well for a lot of people; it didn't for me.

DO NOT TAKE IF YOU HAVE LOW BLOOD PRESSURE. They should make this a warning. Nearly died and have had ongoing panic attacks. MELATONIN REDUCES BLOOD PRESSURE. IF YOU ALREADY ARE LOWER ON THE SPECTRUM YOU SHOULD NOT TAKE THIS

I wanted to try this sleep aid because the ingredients were similar to another brand that I use regularly. I learned that I am not a big fan of "proprietary blends," because they don't like exactly how much of each ingredient is contained within the dose. I am a pretty severe insomniac. I have trouble getting to sleep and trouble staying asleep. I also have a genetically high drug tolerance, so it is difficult for me to find medications that work for me without being over the top. This medication did work for me. It put me to sleep and I stayed asleep all night. Unfortunately, I felt really sick the next morning. It felt similar to a really bad hangover. I felt nauseous and dried out. I thought maybe I was just coming down with something or dehydrated, so I tried it again a few days later. I woke up to the same unpleasant feeling. This is very unusual for me because I've taken a lot of OTC sleeping pills as well as prescription and never have this effect before.
