Excellent rice with no "dodgy" ingredients

I like the rice. It's easy to prepare and taste is good. I have difficulty in separating the rice for serving, though. It wants to cling to other grains in one sticky blob.

What makes this company different is they’ve gone to China and found other varieties of rice besides the short and long grain rice most Americans are used to. This package of Forbidden Rice is a black rice that was so rare, it was reserved for the Emperor. Forbidden rice has more protein than other varieties, and more nutritional value than white rice. Its deep purple color looks beautiful on your plate, and it has a nutty flavor. And it’s organic! This package is mixed with Jasmine rice, so a nice way to integrate the flavors. I am a big fan of Lotus Foods and have loved every product I’ve tried.
