Good book , but one page missing on my kindle
This is an informative sourcebook, but the only downside is that page 127 is missing on my Kindle . Hope the book seller can solve this problem.

Get started
This is a great starter guide, i have used it for the last few years and still reference it from time to time. It takes the guess work out of the terms and measurements, puts everything into an easy to read and easy to understand format.

Very handy little book, with even some remedies that were new to me. It's certainly worth a read if you're into home remedies and sleep sufficiency.

Good reference book especially for preparedness
The book is a manageable size, printed to order by Amazon. Its a good reference guide especially for times when you do not have internet access and want to check how to make something, or the uses of a plant. There are no pictures or guides to plant identification - not a negative but just for user information its handy to know what the book does not contain. It reads like some of the older books I have- a no bells and whistles tool- and most of the recipes are fairly useful and are natural alternatives - bar a couple of odd ones- for instance one which uses Kool aid mix and another using unscented bleach. It gives you some foundation knowledge so that you can learn how to preserve and extract from foraged or grown ingredients from scratch, the section on yeast production and storage I found very informative. As the blurb suggests, its written for an American market, and I did have to look up what "T" and "t" stood for on google! (as in the UK we use the abbreviations Tbsp. and Tsp.) But usefully there are a few blank pages at the end which are great for making your own notes. There are a few editing errors and the odd spelling mistake; but I find it kind of endearing and reassuring that this was written by a real person and not AI! A good book to add to my collection of herbal and homeopathic remedies.
