I have not tasted it, I've bought it as a gift. The reason I know it smells lovely is because the lid wasn't tightened before shipping so it leaked some, fortunately the bottle was well packaged and the plastic bubble wrap contained the leak for the most part...and that's why I know it smells lovely 🙂

This "Runamok Maple Organic Orange Cocktail Bitters" is solid and very tasty. The quality is awesome, definitely a hand-crafted bitter. The flavor is very good, great balance of orange (and other citrus), herbs, and other aromatic/bitter agents. It is pleasant, and complex. The sweetness and characteristics of the maple syrup added another layer of complexity and longevity to this bitter. The maple syrup shine thru during the long aftertaste (and its a great thing).I had found so many different ways to use this bitter. One of its obvious use is to make an "Old Fashioned", and it works great. I also played with using it to make various "Up" (straight up) cocktails, and I enjoyed most, if not all, of the result; this particular "Orange" variant is very versatile.I even tried it with coffees and lattes, and this "Runamok Orange Bitter" worked wonders. I enjoyed it on weekend the mornings, or with cakes mid-afternoons, or as post dinners espressos (to add a twist to it). Runamok Maple Organic Aromatic Cocktail Bitters | 3.38 Fl Oz (100mL) BottleI don’t drink often, but when I do I like to experiment and try different flavors to craft the perfect drink! Maple can go with a lot of liquors and is a lovely flavor for fall, so this looked like a great choice.The pros – this drink does have a great maple flavor! I did find it a little weak but the weakness does make it easier to determine how much maple you actually want in the drink. The drink (surprisingly) is high in alcohol at 41% alcohol, so you won’t have to worry about the flavor making the alcohol in your drink weaker, that’s for sure. The bottle is glass, which feels nice, and the product is organic, which is a plus for me.My only criticism is the cap. It’s designed to only let a drop or two out at a time, and I found it to be a little tricky to use – sometimes no product would drip out, then I’d adjust it and it would be a little…then a lot! I would have preferred if it was a little more predictable.Overall, though, liked the bitters and I’d recommend it; especially mixed with some whiskey on a cool fall day.
