Really cool. That’s a great overall description and assessment of this watch. It’s very large and very noticeable. There’s a lot of weight to it. Does not feel like cheap thin metal. It actually feels like a 2 inch cast iron skillet on your wrist. The face is magnified as advertised and has a really cool look to it at different angles adding again to how noticeable it is. The strap is very thick rubber(I believe) with “genuine leather” strips sewn on top of them. I like the feel of these thick straps. The leather color, gun metal frame color, magnified glass and sandy face color complement each other so well. The seconds and hours arrangement is very easy to read and in an aviation setting has its purpose and serves it well. I don’t wear expensive watches. I prefer sub $100 rugged multi function military style watches that I couldn’t care less if they get scratched and worn. This watch is affordable, fun and cool to look at. Some scratches and wear will make it look better. As a historical military aviation enthusiasts and an admirer of the luftwaffe I got this watch as a novelty really. Ended up being really surprised by the build quality. The classic look. And the functionality of the watch. I’m going to love putting this watch on everyday.

I am pleasantly surprised with my new purchase of this watch. I have been looking for a inexpensive aviation watch that does the basic features without too much bells and whistles. This watch has met all my expectations for its simplicity and functionality. I particularly like the magnified face cover that helps me see the numbers and dials. it has great use to count down the seconds and minutes in a holding pattern or for any precision maneuver that requires timing. Anyway without rambling on too long, it is a great watch for any one who enjoys vintage style watches and wants something useful. The face is 42mm, the band is a nice leather or close. It also has sex appeal and is sporty, and the price is not too bad at all. Don't take my word for it, take it for a spin yourself.

I love the look and size of this watch. I hope it is as durable and mechanically sound as it is esthetically pleasing to the eyes. Very easy to read under normal lighting however with no illumination it is difficult to read in low light and impossible in dark conditions. Only time will tell (pun intended) as to the overall performance and quality of this watch.

It’s a nice watch. I like that each click of the second hand lines up perfectly with each mark on the dial. My disappointment is that this watch looks brand new. By the description which says ... “Each Watch is Unique - the beige dial of the watch is different on each unit and has a fighter pilot oil stained look”. And the pictures shown. I was expecting a vintage looking stained dial, a distressed leather band. But no. The watch I received has a perfect, brand new looking dial, and a brand new looking band. Nothing that makes it look old, vintage, distressed, or nothing that would make me think this dial would be unique from another dial of the same watch. Nice watch, but I was expecting a vintage, distressed looking watch. Not one that looks brand new.

I really like the style of this watch but when I woke up this morning the watch read 8:49 but the actual time was 7:37. Now I don't know if it jumped ahead an hour or so, or if it dropped 23 hours or so but either way when a watch fails to display the correct time it has rendered itself as useless. When I first received the watch I remember it had been about an hour off, but I thought that it may have been possible that I had set it incorrectly so I kept an eye on it and it has been working fine ever since. That is until this morning, May 25th, 6 weeks past the return date. I had just returned a watch from this same Chinese manufacturer a few days prior to the purchase of this watch as the first watch was all over the map and couldn't even keep time for more than an hour. The first watch was roughly half the price and not quite as attractive (in my opinion) but I thought that seeing the second watch was more than twice the price that I would have had better luck, but obviously that's not the case. My advice to anyone looking to purchase any watch from this manufacturer is DON'T!!! ========================== UPDATE =========================== May 16, 2023 . . . A little after 3 months. The watch stopped last night and it has repeatedly stopped throughout the day today! This tells me that these Chinese Mo********** went out of their way to find the cheapest quartz movement they could find. I've had $5 digital watches that kept a great time and lasted for years. Never again will I purchase a watch made in China.

This is a nice, affordable reproduction of the Luftwaffe Flieger B watch, which was black in color, much larger and had a slightly different strap. I liked the tan version better--the color and distressed look of the case has a pleasing antique aesthetic. You get the bonus of it being made in Germany, even though this company was not one of the original manufacturers. It seems like a really nice watch for the price--it's a great everyday watch but also has enough class to wear with formal attire (and it doesn't scream "German WWII"). The luminescent hands and hour dots work fine but aren't particularly bright or functional, but the second hand is very quiet. Overall this has a perfect mix of familiarity and something different.

I like that after a couple years and the battery goes that I can walk into any Walmart and get a replacement.

Die Uhr ist zwar erst kurze Zeit im Betrieb, dennoch ein erster Eindruck. Gute Optik und Haptik!👍🏻 Liest sich gut ab (ja, das Glas ist gewölbt und eben nicht aus dem flachsten Winkel sauber ablesbar- aber dennoch alles gut!). Das Band ist die ersten Stunden etwas hart, das legt sich aber. Einzig die “Leuchtkraft” im Dunkeln überzeugt mich wenig- aber gut, nachts im Dunkeln schläft man auch meist….😉 Ich las hier oft, die Uhr würde mit Lieferung nicht funktionieren. Dazu ggf. ein Hinweis: zwischen Gehäuse und Krone ist eine “winzigkleine” Sperre aus fast transparentem Kunststoff eingelegt. Diese verhindert, dass sich die Krone ab Werk in Betriebsstellung befindet, die Uhr also läuft. Das würde auf Dauer die Batterie leeren. Also- Sperre entnehmen, Uhr stellen und Krone einrasten lassen.

A great piece of history and beautiful watch. Too bad is was modernized with a battery instead of wind up but otherwise a great watch. Love it.
